Ordered 6 yards of premium dark mulch. Looked ok on delivery. 4 weeks later not dark anymore. Called and was told mulch was burnt not colored. Tried to tell me they do offer colored mulch but website does not reflect any options of colored or un colored . Only options are light and dark. I ordered dark and now it’s light 1 month later. Beware dark mulch orders.

I ordered (via telephone) 10 yards of 3X Processed Brown Mulch.  They setup a time within a couple of days.  They showed up on time and did a brilliant job of mulching my entire yard.  The mulch is high quality, looks good and is professionally installed.  They sprayed weed killer and did some minor clean up of a few beds before mulching.  I also took advantage of their bush trimming, which was done beautifully and they cleaned up their mess.
The best part is the price.  The mulch was $27 per yard, plus $5 per yard delivery and $17 per yard installation.  They also gave me a $30 discount.  You can even order it all online if that's what you like.  The price I paid for everything is way less than any deal I've seen on Angie's List or elsewhere.

Horrible experience. No show for first estimate. No calls or apologies. I had to call them back to reschedule. Again, no show for second estimate. This time, they at least call me back, no apology of course. I call Scott on his cell to reschedule and he never returned my call. Called back main office and never returned my call. These guys are very shady.

Overall the workers did their job.  They did what they were supposed to do within the lines drawn for the new mulch beds and edging.  The mulch delivered didnt look like good double processed chocolate mulch, in fact when the work was finished and the guy handed my husband the invoice for payment, the invoice stated 879.90.  When I got home from work and my husband had showed me the invoice I immediately called Mr. Mulch and asked them why the estimate had changed.  They had told me the cost had gone up because they had delivered and installed triple processed chocolate mulch at 32.56 a yd.  I strongly voiced that that is not what we requested and we had the paperwork to prove it. They had told me well it doesnt matter because thats what the guys picked up and delivered and that we have to pay for it.  I was furious!  I had made several other attempts to get my money back and all they could offer was to come and powerwash the stone in the front of our home.  They never did. Nor did they make any attempts to right the situation.  IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF BY ALL MEANS USE THEM.  I have told my neighbors and friends to avoid this company AT ALL COSTS.

We called for an estimate to have mulch delivered and spread. I was told that samples of the double processed and triple processed mulch were available outside their Naperville location. When I went to check it out the samples were not there but Scott was. He showed us a sample of the his triple processed mulch- which was very nice. He came out to give us an estimate and was very prompt. Since we liked the look of the mulch he showed us and his price to spread it was great, we put in our order. His guys arrived on time to install the mulch and went about doing so. After they were finished in the back yard and had moved to the front, I went out to take a look. To my disappointment the mulch didn't look anything like what Scott had showed us. I called the office right away and spoke with him. He assured me that he did send over the triple processed mulch. We are still picking out huge pieces of mulch from our gardens. Pieces of plywood, pieces of 1x2, etc.. While they were on time, and their cost to spread the mulch was very reasonable, the mulch itself was less than expected.
