THE CLEANING AUTHORITY

Their ability to schedule and meet our schedule stood out to me.

They were referred by my daughter in law. I really like them and we are having them come back. They came out to give an estimate and they were on time. They were very pleasant and professional. They finished in the specified time frame and there were no problems at all. The scheduling was fine.

The initial cleaning was marginal, this was a deep cleaning of all areas.(I did not have them clean the 4 bedrooms upstairs.) The crew did not wipe down the tile in the master bathroom, and the floor was sticky. I found in the second bathroom that they did not move the small stand next to the tub when they cleaned the floor and that they did not wipe the shelves in the tub surround, they were still dirty. In the living areas, they did a bad job of dusting the blinds. In the family room where we have 2 inch wood blinds, I think they just skimmed with a feather duster. The wood floors had streaks on them that I noticed as soon as I walked in. The kitchen area looked okay, and I didn't notice anything major. The followup cleaning 3 weeks later was the deep cleaning in the bathrooms (2.5) and I had called the company to let them know the tiles were not wiped down the last time. I was stunned when I walked into the master bathroom and found the tile was not wiped down again in the master bath! In the main bathroom, I stood on the tub to check the shelves and top of the shower, and none of that had been cleaned. The cabinets and floorboards were supposed to be cleaned so I took a damp rag to check and sure enough there was visible dust and dirt on the rag. I took that damp rag and ran it down the banister...can you guess? When I went into the family room, I noticed that the glass top coffee table had not been dusted. So, got another rag out and proceeded to dust my family room, dining room, and living room. None of that had been touched, but they did run the vacuum in the formal living room (we don't use that), and the area rug in the dining room and family room. The floor had to be rewashed because it had a dull film on it. Please be wary of this company, they do not do what they promise. I called the company that evening to let them know that this did not work for me, and I got a call back the next evening saying that I could not pick up my key and had to wait until Monday. Karen did not even ask, nor did she apologize...I changed my locks!

They are very good with marketing, but the cleaning services that they provided was below average and they don't supervise their employees close enough.

Unfortunately consistency is not key with this company. I expect that when I pay someone to do a job that they do the job well. Both my husband and I have had to call to complain repeatedly about this companies lack of management. 1st of all they never send the same people to clean your home. Consequently you may have as many as 20 different people in your home over the course of 6 months time. In addition there is NO consistency. Some weeks the clean might me satisfactory and other weeks it looks like no one even came. Frequently we could see that tables had not been dusted, floors had not been vacuumed. Furniture is supposed to be vacuumed and was not. knickknacks are supposed to be moved to be dusted around and were not. Even when they move items to dust they don't put things back where they were before. Simple tasks like taking out all the garbage is neglected. A friend of mine had this company clean her home. She was smart enough to fire them three weeks later. We wish we had too!
