I called Mr. Kamal and he was able to meet with me the next day. He spent quality time reviewing the problems, and the AC unit. After his evaluation, he provided two options for me (i.e., one that would last ~20 years, and one that would last much longer). We discussed the pros and cons (e.g., for the longer lasting option, we would have had to invest in all new duct work due to the size of our furnace). Given our context, we decided to go with the 20 year option.
Mr. Kamal ordered the parts and was in the next day to replace the unit. We've been happy (and cool) ever since.
