Pin Point Electrical Services

E-mailed me a quote that was just typed out as QuickBooks was "not working."  No total, and the way I interpreted the e-mail was the cost would be $772.  Day of work, PinPoint showed up two hours late due to a flat tire.  Their interpretation of the e-mail was that each outlet (not circuit) was being charged for, making the cost $951.

The following weekend, I elected to inspect a bit more the work.  One outlet dedicated for space heater was done, additional light added to old circuit done, second outlet added onto a new circuit done, third outlet added to old circuit--the one already being overworked. 

Phone calls have not been returned.

Am planning more electrical work on my house as I recently purchased it, but will be seeking electrical services elsewhere.  Very disappointing. 

He only stayed for an hour and a half before he stopped trouble shooting.  He said that I had to remove the insulation from the attic before he would do the work.  He walked off the job.  I had since received several other estimates that did not involve removing the insulation.  I was not pleased with him.

It went exceptionally well. His follow through is unbelievable. He has done work for us over the past two years. If there is any issue with the service, he comes back immediately at no charge to correct the issue. He has also provided additional services at no charge; ie, inspecting ceiling fans. He is also licensed, bonded, and insured.

PinPoint did an excellent job of installing the fan. They responded promptly to my request for an estimate, did a careful inspection, and provided a detailed itemized estimate. They were very flexible in accommodating a change in installation location after making their estimate. The manufacturer of the fan neglected to include the wall control with the fan. PinPoint contacted the manufacturer, arranged for a control unit to be sent, and returned a second time to install the control at no extra charge. They did an excellent job of communicating, both in terms of being responsive and being clear. The fan was installed carefully and the installer cleaned up after finishing. It was a pleasure to do business with them. A+.

I called in the morning and was immediately scheduled for the work to be done that afternoon when I would get home from work. He arrived at the set time, went right to work diagnosing the problem and then fixing it in a very direct, efficient and professional manner, all the while being friendly and courteous. Extremely satisfied...couldn't ask for anything more.

I was a little scared about adding new ceiling fans because I didn't want to repaint every room with drywall damage but the electrician assured me there would be no drywall damage!He cleaned up after himself with his own vacuum!They were on time,courteous and the most reasonably priced out of the 3 estimates I had.I had a great experience with this company and will use them in the future.
