MARK BUILDERS

Everything went as planned. When Mark said he would be here at a certain time he always was. I appreciated this because I didn’t have to sit around wondering when or if he would show up. The work itself turned out great and we were very pleased. We’ve had nothing but great comments from everyone who sees it.

Everything went great. Mark came out to estimate the job. He was very prompt, friendly, knowledgeble on all areas. made a plan and stuck by it for the whole job. Always showed up when he said he would. He made the entire experience very easy for my wife and myself. We are very happy with everything he did. We have people in our neighborhood stop by and ask who did the work and only have compliments about his work. I would have him again with no questions asked. His workers were as nice and very good at what they did. They all worked hard and did great work. I would refer him to anyone who needs work done.

Project started in late July and ended in Late September. He was delayed by me for a family event that kept him off the project for 3 days. The original quote and extras was around what I expected to pay.

Mark is awesome - he and his team did a great job and took extra care to make sure the place was super clean since my wife is pregnant. However, I think he ALWAYS takes that much care with his work! We are extremely pleased and he is at the top of our list for any type of home repair or building project!

They started in August of 2008, and we decided not to go with them 6 months later. The main issue that we had was that they were not knowledgeable about the cities building permits. We lingered in the permit process for many months, and finally decided to go with someone else. The only work that they ended up doing for us was demoing, and a couple other things that they did start on. We also told them what our budget was, and they kept coming back with something above our budget. That's another reason why we stopped going with theml; they couldn't get their numbers below our budget.

Mark Builders did a terrific job on three large projects: finishing my basement, finishing my attic and restoring my bathroom. Mark was responsive to all my design needs as well as being flexible to any changes that needed to be done to the initial design. He was incredibly responsive to my questions during the construction process and was happy to come back several times since the construction ended to perform small "touch-up" work. In my opinion, the quality of Mark's craftsmanship was very high. I would recommend Mark Builders without reservation and plan on hiring them again for my future rehab needs.

Mark is flexible, responsive and fair. Worked with me on several revisions of contract and is working with several subcontractors of my choosing. Came in to my project which another contractor had started and abandoned;should have chosen Mark Builders in the beginning. Went above and beyond on several aspects of the job, especially the marble tile bathrooms. Does good work that he's proud of. Makes suggestions and gives advice but isn't pushy. Very responsive to calls.
