Very good. Punctual and clean and did an excellent job.

Everything went fine with Lotz Home and Office, LLC. I'm using them again for a basement project. They're tidy. The owner is always here to initiate the project and he's here at the end of the project, if he's not doing the work himself. The company has changed over time. They were strictly painting before, but now they're more into general home remodeling. His prices are fair.

Lotz Home and Office, LLC pulled together all the subcontractors needed for the remodeling. The overseer was generally concerned as to what you wanted to do and made suggestions. He didn't pressure you in to anything and wanted you to feel comfortable with your decisions. He made sure that whenever a subcontractor came in he was on site at the same time. They answered any questions I had as far as the plumbing and electrical work was concerned, and then followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. The same thing happened with the tile guy and all the other people. He was very hands-on. He did quite a bit of follow up and made sure I was happy. He was the one that did the patching of the walls and the painting. He is already working with me on my kitchen.

We needed the house stained and some siding replaced due to buckling. Mark and his team did a great job!They took their time and paid great attention to detail New siding is installed properly and the stain coverage was very good. No clean up or touch up required on our part after they were done. House looks like new. We are very happy withthe work.

We will be considering Mark and his brother for all future paint projects! They are true master craftsmen in their profession they were prompt and moved efficiently as a team painting an office, kitchen walls and ceiling, and family room walls, ceiling, and skylight areas. They moved furniture, protected all areas with plastic and cloth tarps. My husband and I were most impressed with the neatness and the little extras like wiping clean recessed lights! They vacuumed up and finished the project on time as quoted.

I have used them a couple of times in the past. He is very personable and very willing to come out.

In the end, I was extremely happy with the work and professionalism of Lotz painting. But, it was a journey. They were to stain 11 windows that had been installed and they did a beautiful job.. Mark had to leave so he left his two guys to finish the job.. I went to the store and when I returned, they said there was a problem and one of the windows was cracked. It was all guaranteed, so I said no problem and they packed up their stuff to leave. As I walked them out, I noticed that the oak stairs were broken. One of the guys had fallen off an articulated ladder straddling the stairs, fell and broke his wrist and the heavy ladder broke two of the stairs. I didn't know this had happened, I just saw the stairs and no one had mentioned it. So I was upset. But, Mark and his wife Brenda, couldn't be more professional. They explained everything, offered to pay for the stairs, came back and stained the stairs and the replaced window. Fortunately, they had workmen's comp and their employee had to have surgery on his hand..So it is a good example of when things go wrong....and always check if a company has insurance, especially if they are on ladders!!

We met Mark at a home show a few years ago and was impressed with his professionalism as well as personable demeanor. Mark's company is family owned and has been in the Naperville area for many years. We like to support local small businesses in our community and Lotz Painting fit the bill! Initially we set our project to begin on a certain date, and unfortunately I had to reschedule due to personal circumstances. Mark was very flexible and accommodated my schedule. On the day of the project they informed me they would be able to complete the project in 1 day versus 2 as initially estimated. This was great news since I was having out of town guests arriving in the next couple of days. Mark and his staff were very efficient, polite and professional. After the job was completed, I had made an error about the color of the switch plates and vents and Mark returned the next day to re-do them --accommodating my schedule once again.
