We just got our long driveway done today. I can't speak about what happens six or nine months from now. However, I can comment on their work ethics, quality and efficiency. I gave a 5*. They came on time as they said. They were a very organized team and worked very efficiently. Each team member seemed to know their role well and worked expertly. I have never watched concrete work besides the highway repair which usually drags from Summer to Fall. I was worried that the work would drag for days. No, it went like clockwork and completed as they promised. The new driveway looks very nice, like a piece of art. The lines are straight and all lined up with the same depth. It actually dressed up the house a bit, a big improvement from the old asphalt one. So, based on our experience, I highly recommend the team if you need to do your driveway! Emily

My drive cracked within 2 months and he would never take responsibility for it or repair and it's been over a year. Poor workmanship combined with horrible customer service. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. I feel totally ripped off and take for a ride.

Horrible! Driveway and patio started spalling within 6 months. Spalling occurs when concrete isn't properly mixed. Brian Block gave me all kinds of ridiculous reasons why my driveway and patio looked like ****. Refused to take responsibility for his bad product. The only way to fix? Replace with properly mixed concrete which he refused to do. They even poured concrete over the city's water shut off valve and had to threaten legal action to get them to chisel it out! Don't use these scammers!

I chose Brian at Dressler Block because he said if any cracks appeared in 1st year he would repair small cracks or replace for large cracks. Project delayed by Weather? for a month. Cracked sidewalk which they replaced at their expense. Poured concrete on 9-24-15. Within 2 weeks noticed two small cracks. Contacted Brian and he said they would be out before winter to seal. No one ever showed. Starting in March called 4 times Brian said would be out around 4-15-16 to repair cracks. No Show. Called 3 more time Brian said would be out week of 5-23-16 to repair cracks. No Show. Last called on June 28, 2016 I have not received a return call. Does not stand by his work. Very disappointed.

Horrible! We are so disappointed. Dressler Block was recommended by neighbors & Brian seemed friendly & professional. Gave him our initial check & hired him in early June 2013, with the possibility of job being complete by end of June for graduation party. Never heard from Brian again until August when we started calling. Job was finally finished end of August, but only because we kept calling. Less than a year later, within warranty, cracks running entire width of driveway. Started calling Brian in June 2014 to request repair of cracks. Lots of promises from office staff, but never a phone call or appearance by Brian. Now September 2014 & have filled a complaint with Better Business Bureau. No appearance or call from Brian.

Work was great. Also added patio bricks to front porch. Very satisfied

The quality of the work was good. The communication was not that good.

When I returned home after the job had finished (I was out of country) I found the aggregate to be missing or washed out from the concrete in places, so I asked Brian why. He explained that someone had walked right through the new pour when they were not there, and when they found out, the concrete was partially cured. They performed some emergency procedure on the surface, but it was not a total cure. I was told this is all they could do for me, leading me to believe they were not insured, in which case, they could tear it out and pour it again.
We later talked and reached a compromise - I would pay for half of the replacement cost, based on the original estimate. Brian agreed, but then never returned a call for over a year. I gave up, and lived with it, but it was a bad experience for me.

Dressler gave us an estimate which fell in the mid range compared to other estimates we had gotten.  He was very knowledgeable on design ideas on how to maximize the space.  We are very pleased with the concrete patio that they poured and I would definitely recommend this company.  The only reason I didn't rate them as an A is because he arrived 45 minutes late for the estimate and obtaining the permit took a little longer than we expected, which I guess is really not his fault - but possibly our village government.

This company believes in doing things right the first time. Provided correct solutions to problems instead of quick-fixes.
