Cypress Construction and Remodeling

I would not recommend them at all. The subcontractors did excellent work. What was supposed to take a month but it is still not done. I told him we had out of town company coming from Texas and still not done. He is not returning our calls. He was contracted to do 3 jobs. He was supposed to do our kitchen, laundry room, and master bath, outside of the house and replace rotten wood in all areas. The painters are coming back to finish the work. I have no problem with the plumber, electrician and drywall guy. In our master bath he had a professional come in to do the shower and he had to do the rest and did not do a good job. He came to put a piece in the shower so our guest could at least use the shower. I am having to pay again to have somebody to come back in to re do what he did. He has yet to come back for equipment he left here, and took things that were not his. He never put a fan in our guest bedroom which was one of the first things I wanted to have done. He kept upping the price and because we were older he thought we would not mind. He put lights in the kitchen that would not come on without turning on the lights in the whole kitchen. He cuts corners.

Took our money and has not finished the job. We tried multiple times to contact him through email, phone, and texts. At the beginning he was very persistent in getting us to contract him to do this job, calling, emailing and texting my wife regularly. He started remodeling our bathroom on July 21, the last payment went through on August 18th and we haven't heard from him since he found out the payment went through on August 21.He cashed our checks and didn't complete the job he was contracted to do. He charged us for things we did not consent to. When my wife questioned him about a fan in the bathroom that he charged us $225, he became very defensive. We later found that that same fan cost significantly less at Home Depot.
