It costs too much. It's supposed to be $34 and they've been charging me $50. They should bill me correctly. The installer was early and professional. The customer service gets an 'F' because they haven't corrected my bill yet.

Appalling. The installer was incompetent. I had to lend him my drill as his was dead. He could not connect to my router. His installation was dangerous, present both safety and fire hazards.   It took a full 2 1/2 weeks of phone and chats spanning 6 hours to Comcast to get a 1/2 hour repair to correct things.  Horrible, ignorant, off-shore so called Customer Service resources. Nothing got done until I called business and said, "I want to cancel." A lady named Giovanna resolved my problems within an hour, something that over a dozen analysts, superviors and managers were unable to do in the previous 2 1/2 weeks.   Instead, they argued, lied, put me on terminal hold and hung up on me.   The improper install left fire and safety issues. Yet Comcast did nothing but BS me for 2.5 weeks rather than address their failures.   An epic presentation of appalling customer service from beginning to end, with the exception of the aforementioned Giovanna.  Such a truly horrible experience of such absurdity that if you saw it on TV you would not believe it could occur.   The real problem is that I managed the sale and installation of custom A/V systems. Unlike the expected ignorant client, I really do know what I am talking about.   Comcast need to dump the off shore call centers and provide localized service centers who are not staffed by people trained to lie.

Their customer service is very poor. I signed up for their Triple Play on June 30. I received notification about a promotion and asked the representative specifically about the DVR capabilities for my specific needs. I am a quadriplegic and this was an important issue. Upon setup, I realized it would not fit my needs and decided to cancel. I called numerous times. At one point, I was on hold for 4 hours. They finally offered me the Blast Plus package and stated that I was all signed up. I called back on July 30th and it still had not been switched. I spent an hour talking to the supervisor who assured me it would be set up. I have called and been disconnected numerous times. On August 20, I was assured it would be set by the 29th. It appears that it has just now been switched. This has taken many days and 20 phone calls to get this switch taken care of. This is completely ridiculous.

I called Comcast internet support because it was running very slow and kicking me off. Over a three hour period I called 6 times, was cut off or hung up on 4 times, talked to 9 different reps, several of which I couldn't understand, and never did get a resolution to the problem. I asked each person I talked to to set up a service call for me and they all refused saying they could fix the problem. The last person I spoke with assured me he could fix the problem right then if I bought a special service package. At that point I started demanding to talk to a manager which he refused to allow, eventually hanging up on me.
I then drove to the local Comcat office and was told that there was no one there that could help me and there was nothing they could do. I finally figured a way around their phone support and scheduled an appointment with an actual person. The tech that came to my house was fantastic and fixed the problem in minutes. It's just to bad they insist on putting money over service.

We have changed the modem, checked the connection, etc. and I cannot get the internet that I have been paying for. I never get returned calls as they say I would.

I do not like them. I asked for a certain type of cable box and they said they didn't have any in the office. They said, we give you what we have in stock. Then I called on the phone and they were very nice to me and I ended up getting the box. Their prices are way to high. They never tell you when your bill is going to increase. When you say you're going to cancel they give you to another person who tells you they can offer a special to save you money. But they never try to save you money up-front.

It is a necessary evil. I have to pay for basic TV in order to get the internet access. I'm not sure why I have to pay for it when I already have a satellite service that I prefer. I am doubling up on my TV.  We pay them by direct bill. I will continue to use them.

We have been using them for a while.  We get several different bills. She has home office and cable.  Everything has been pretty good and reasonable. Occasionally my wife has problems with the internet and cable. It is usually not a long problem and it is corrected quickly.  They are very responsive and by the time I call them they know there is a problem.  Sometimes they also give us an expected time as to when it would be fixed and they keep it up to date. They usually have a recording on their phones and it is not hard to get hold of somebody to talk to. They have been pretty good.  I don’t know how competitive they are when it comes to price. The quality could have been better but it is not bad.  We go on to the phone when we have problems and some problems are corrected over the phone.  They tell you when they are going to come and they are here.  They give you a 2 hour window and they have been on time.

Comcast consistently has the worst customer service I personally have ever dealt with. It is not a rudeness issue, it is that the company is so poorly run and managed that they cannot keep their promises. In TWO WEEKS, here is what happened: - installed cable, left black wire sprawled across my lawn diagonally, had to come back to bury it - cut our internet wire accidentally because their records did not indicate that my house had internet - blew me off for three appointments by not showing to restore service - did not return 3 calls at times promised by their representatives - showed up to install service later after blowing off the first appointment and did not have the proper equipment to drill into a concrete wall, even though I called THREE times to make sure they came with the right equipment (my house is odd) In all, I wasted hours of time waiting at home, on the phone, and on chat. This company is pathetically bad, to the point of total incompetence. BY ALL MEANS, AT ALL COSTS, STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST.

I noticed variations in the Internet speed when I was on the Internet. The service that they provide is not consistent. I didn't have a choice for many years because they were the only providers in my area. I was stuck with them and I paid them a high price. They recommended that I purchase my own modem. Whenever there was a problem, they would say it could be a problem with my equipment. They would also charge me an additional fifty dollars to fix it. I feel that their service is really inferior. They didn't care to retain me as a customer.

I used Comcast for about three years. I think they are awful. I ordered a bunch of packages online, and when you're done with the ordering you confirm it before you can move on. Then they called me to confirm. Then before they even came out to do the install they called me to confirm. Then when Comcast came out to do the install the contractor told me that I needed to call a separate contractor to have them do the install. When the separate contractor came out he asked me why I hadn't just had Comcast do the install. In the end they didn't even give me what I had ordered and they had confirmed three times.

I went to them primarily for their reliability. I didn't want to worry about the satellite going out in the middle of a big game or something like that. They offered me special introductory pricing as well. The cable box that they put in the first time didn't work, and I had to wait for them for a week to come back and put a new one in. They were to credit me for that, but I have not yet double checked that. Once they got it fixed, it worked fine, and they didn't come across as being unprofessional.

We went with the reliability of cable as opposed to satellite. We have a special introductory offer. The installation went fine. The first cable box they put in didn't work. I had to wait a week for them to come and put the second one in. I was without service for a week and they were supposed to credit my account for that down time.

Their prices are high and their attitude is bad. The reception is reliable but the quality is not great. The Internet was fast at first but it has become very slow. When we switched over to another service provider, I gave them the option to match the price of the other company but they were not interested. Their customer service is good; I don t get someone in another country who doesn t know what he or she are talking about.

They are pretty basic, pretty good, and I have faced no problems with their service. Their customer service is also prompt and I would give them relatively high grades across the board for their services. We had a problem with the internet a few years back but none in the recent years. We would certainly use them for any future requirement, if need be.

The entire time I was a Comcast customer, I had several problems with their billing and accounting practices. Because of these problems I canceled my account with Comcast in June. Now I am having a horrible time getting the credit that Comcast owes me from my last overpayment. I have made several phone calls to Comcast, and still have not received my payment. In addition to not receiving the payment, I am still getting billed for the account that is closed (it is up to over $400), and the credit that I should receive has decreased every time I have called to check the status of the credit. The accounting practices of Comcast SHOULD be investigated. I have made several phone calls about this and previous credits that I was supposed to receive. Ultimately, I am the one who has not been paid the promised credits. I am sure that I am not the only customer with these complaints. If an investigation is launched, I have also collected other notes about previous credits that I should have received. Ultimately, this is why I decided to stop being a consumer of Comcast.

The installer arrived late, and then proceeded to drill holes in the floor for my cable, rather than connecting to the existing outlets in the wall (my house is a ranch with easy access to the basement and attic). It took about 5 hours to provide service in a home that had previously had it, and I ended up having to pay an electrician $200 to come in and put the outlets in the wall where they belonged. He left my basement a mess - wires hanging everywhere, and ceiling tiles left pushed aside in the suspended ceiling. I still don't have full e-mail functionality 2 months later. The cable hasn't been bad, the internet speeds are good, but Customer Service is worse than non-existent.

The installation was done well, but it did take longer than they expected. They needed additional wiring than what they had anticipated for the job. But the worker was very professional and business like and did arrive in the time window they had promised.

I had to wait several days from the time I called until they showed up. They wouldn't give me a specific scheduled time. The guy that came wasn t very friendly. He installed the wire, but then I had to wait several weeks until someone else came to bury it. I d hire them again only because I have to as they are the only cable service in our area.

I could not wait to get out of their contract. The connection was very slow. It barely faster than regular dial-up. During the year, the cable from the street to our house had to be replaced three times, which killed the grass and created a mess. My husband would get very frustrated when he would have to call for help because they usually did not give any helpful information. My husband is an electrical engineer and has developed cable modems before, so it is not like he couldn't understand what they were saying. I also do not like the people they hire for service calls. One of the technicians kept taking personal calls and screaming at whoever was on the phone the whole time he was there. Another did not know what to do and we wound up calling my husband at his work for help. We were still charged for his service call! We will never use Comcast again.

Although I'm not a cheerleader for corporate America, I have been really happy with my internet. The service has been reliable, and as promised, high-speed. We do not have problems with outages, and I have not had to call for customer support. It's certainly better than dial-up, and while more expensive, I'd say it's worth it. I'm still a little bummed about the mess they made on the closet while installing it, but when the door to the closet is shut, I'm a satisfied customer.
