BARRA HOUSE CLEANING

I have been using this service for about a year. A woman would come to my house once every other week. Not always the same woman so I could not rely on her knowing where things are or what I like her to do. The women do not speak english and I do not speak polish so I was unable to tell her how and what to do. She cleaned the basics, no deep cleaning like corners or under furniture. Even the sinks were not cleaned very well around the drain. I use this service to keep up with the routine of cleaning and do the deep cleaning my self. Lately, the service has been unreliable. Once she came on the wrong day, and the past few weeks she came three weeks in a row. I was at work so did not leave payment for her. Now I am trying to get a hold of them but their phone is disconnected.

We do not recommend Barra. STAY AWAY! Barra is an unprofessional outfit that handled a modest complaint by not returning our phone calls and no longer sending their staff to our home. Our cleaning had been OK, but our cleaner accidentally disposed of a bucket full of our musical instrument accessories (sheet music, music books, guitar strings, picks, tuners, etc.). We called Barra to explain that some fairly valuable (approx. $150 dollars) items were discarded, and that we'd like a credit on a future clean. Their secretary claimed that the owner would respond to us and work to address our request. No one called back. We called them back 3 more times... no response. If this wasn't bad enough, our cleaner never arrived for her next appointment. No notification, No explanation, Nothing. Accidents will happen, and they're easily forgiven. Unprofessionalism, however, is unacceptable. We HIGHLY suggest you look elsewhere for your cleaning services.
