in the near future. I dropped into Schimmer and spoke with Shannon Talley and gave her the specific on what I was looking for and the price range. Within a couple of days she found my Camry. She went above and beyond for me, as my credit isn't all that great, she found a great bank that was willing to take a chance on me. Thank you for the great personal service and will totally be back when I need anything car related.
"Hello [member name removed]! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a nice review! We appreciate it, and we appreciate your business to our store! If you need anything from us, just let us know! Thank you again!"
"Hi [removed member name] ! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate your business, and hope to see you again! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you!"
The next day we picked up the truck and they said they had replaced the power window button and oil seal, inspected the brake and engine and found nothing wrong so we thought we were done with them....so we thought. EXACTLY 275 MILES AFTER SERVICE the right front brake caliper slipped off and jammed itself up into the inside of the rim so you couldn't drive the truck. It was like a wedge under a door. This happened because the lower brake caliper mounting bolt had either never been put back in or properly tightened and it fell out!!! They didn't let us down.....denial and lack of responsibility arose quickly. The service manager tried passing the buck onto the oil change shop, another mechanic, etc. Now, the vehicle had about 40,000 miles on it and we had never had issues with the brakes until now....and they wanted us to believe after their involvment with the right front brake, 275 miles later, this was just a coincidence? It didn't come off in 40,000 miles but in 275 it does? Sorry but no! All parties involved knew who was responsible.
They refused to replace or repair the gouged rim. The only thing they did was tow the vehicle back to their shop and replace the bolt. If they didn't feel this was their negligence they never would have paid for an independent towing fee and replace the bolt without charging. However the expensive part, the rim, they would not. They wouldn't even get it for us at cost as a possible option or even split the cost with us! They said they would have to justify it to Ford and that would be a problem for them. So make it our problem instead is what they chose to do!
This place of business may claim they are certified mechanics and provide excellent service but they are far from it. They are incompetent, argumentatitive, sexist, lack responsibility, and most important NEGLIGENT! For the price they charge per hour, you certainly don't get your monies worth in knowledge, respect, professional courtesy and service. TRUE KNOWLEGDEABLE PROFESSIONALS, FAR FROM IT. They clearly don't care about their customers or their quality of work they put out.
"Hi (member name removed)! I just want to apologize from all of us for your poor experience to our service center. Many times, when trying to describe an issue, it's a classic case of mis-communication. We would like you to give us a second chance sometime, and I can offer you a discount on your next oil change, if you would come back. We have new management in our service department, and I know we will be able to show you we are a service center you can trust. If you'd like, please e-mail me at [email protected]. i am the Internet Coordinator here at Schimmer's."
"Hi! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate that, and we appreciate your business to our store! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the future!"
