"[Member Name Removed], I am very sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with the service we provided in comparison with your 2011 experience. It seems there were a few variables that were not the same. It typically takes 10 to 12 mins per area to clean an area of carpet with a 2 person crew depending on soil condition and number of spots they would have to stop and address. The crew cleaned 5 areas including a bathroom and hall which would put them around an hour of cleaning time. When I cleaned the carpet initially I was working alone and I had to pretreat carpet, work on spots, pull my own hose, apply protectant, rake the carpet, and set up tear down the truck by myself which did take me twice as long. This time the crew deodorized the carpet with an essential oil based product as well as applied the Green Guard protectant. Both products were applied after the cleaning which would account for a little longer drying time and cost. Longer dry time is directly related to humidity and conditions of the environment not usually time spent cleaning. We can only remove so much moisture despite how many times we go over the carpet with dry strokes, the rest is up to rate of evaporation. It could be that your heat or air did not run due to the moderate weather we have experienced in October. The temps have been warm enough not to need heat but cool enough for the air not to run, both of which are essential elements for reducing humidity in your home. The humidity has been high and we've had to tell several customers to close their windows even though they thought it was ideal to the to have them open. We usually explain how to control the environment in their home by turning up the heat or air based on the current temperature inside. I am pleased to here you were satisfied with the results.
