Meinders Air Duct Cleaning Inc.

I called Meinders for a quote for the work that needed done. They gave me a proper quote over the phone after we discussed how many vents/returns were in my house. The original appointment had to be rescheduled due to their truck needing some work so we rescheduled for the following week, no big deal. Upon arrival, there was no introduction of who they were, no names given, or even if it was the owner like the website claims. There was no explanation of  how this process was going to be conducted. So needless to say the customer service is very poor. My wife was home alone with a 4 month old so this need for how the duct cleaning was going to be performed is understandable. The vacuum was extremely loud, so my wife went upstairs with the baby to stay out of their way and to keep him calm. Upon cleaning the downstairs, they gave no warning of moving upstairs or to even give her a chance to move, they started in on the upstairs rooms. Once the cleaning was over, and the service was paid for, my wife turned on the furnace. Only then she realized that all the dirt, dust, and debris that was knocked loose and didn't get vacuumed was now being blown out of the vents all over the house. So my wife has spent the afternoon cleaning up after a duct cleaning service has been to our house. I wish I could be writing an exceptional review with only good things to say; unfortunately this is not the case. The service performed today is mediocre at best.
