The representative was wonderful. He had to cut through plaster in the ceiling. He also had to climb up into the attic that was rafters only and run a vent to the outside. He was able to figure out how to vent the fan outside using an existing peak vent so no additional holes had to be cut to the outside though our cedar siding. I would use this company again, and recommend to others.

Thunderstorm on Sunday (same one that spawned EF-4 tornado 12 miles away) pulled the pipe going from utility service head to meter off the house. Called various electricians from List and Koener was only one that called back that day. Helped me evaluate whether it had to be done that day i.e. was it dangerous or would cause me to lose power, or could it wait until Monday. This saved me double time/2 hour minimum charge; I appreciated his honesty.
Electrician called next morning, made arrangements to come out without me taking time off from work. Performed the work and followed up to tell me it was done and utility company would need to be called to complete. Paid via phone and received pd invoice in mail. Couldn't compare prices but seemed reasonable.

They were absolutely wonderful and the most responsive and professional out of all of the contracters we had bid. They provided me with an original bid right over the phone from my description and I did not have to wait many days for the bid through the mail. After I called them back and changed my project a little bit and told them I was using them, they had JULI out the next day and was out to our house to do the job 2 days after hiring them! I could not have chosen a better contracter for this job!!!

They did a great job, I would highly recommend.

Had a 8:00 appointment. Called at 9:00. The company said the electrician was working on paperwork and the manager forgot about the appointment. When the guy arrived he was very professional and efficient.

They are efficient and ask me to make a list of things I need done in advance so they can estimate billing. They want to make sure that I get what I pay for and that they don't make a trip to do just one thing.

On the initial visit the electrical worker completed the job of changing the sensor for the yard light.. He only changed out one of the lights to auto illuminate the walk - this was not his fault because I didn't tell him three lights were operated by one light switch, but I would have thought his power of observation would be more expert at this matter. When the bill came we had charges for services provided on days no one was home and there was no notification by the company that further work would be done at the house... thus an unexpected $700+ total bill. I was also ignorant that the workers do not come to the job with the supplies needed to perform the job, so travel and shopping time at the local hardware store is also included in the bill with no validation information to know that the time charged is legitimate. I was very disappointed because this company was chosen over Oberlander based on Angie's List recommendation. Oberlander got the next call to have a dedicated outlet put in because I could not trust Koerner Electric to follow through with what they said the work would be.

Constantly playing phone tag and would have appreciated if a message was left that I could respond to (if necessary)

Quite personable and willing to explain. Very happy with the work. NOTE: I initially called at about 400 pm and the person who answered sent me to voice mail. When I hadn't received a callback by noon the next day I called again and reached the dispatcher (or I assume, the owner) who apologized about forgetting to follow up on my previous call. The 'B' in responsiveness is from that error. Otherwise, the provider was quite responsive.

Called Monday around 1pm to get some electrical fixed. Had some bad wiring and no electricity in the bedroom, office or bathroom. They told me they would be here Tuesday at the latest. Someone came Tuesday afternoon (not home from work until 1pm so they could not have come in the morning) and he worked for a couple hours and then informed us he would have to come back the next day to finish (something about if he stayed he would be on overtime) I was disapointed the problem could not have been fixed that day but he came back Wednesday for a couple hours and finished the job. I understand if they had started in the morning it would have been able to get done in 1 day, just a minor inconvinience as they did a good job.

Good initial contact on the phone. Appointment was set up, repairman arrived on time. Very personable and friendly. He went right to work and had the fixtures up and running in 90 minutes. Some would say pricey, but I thought it was well worth the $100 fee.

Scheduling the work required several phone calls due to personnel issues that were not controllable by the company. Once scheduled the electrician arrived on time and completed work appropriately and professionally.

I would call them again if I have electrical work. The quality of their work was fine and I didn’t have any problems. Their responsiveness and professionalism were good.

Called on Friday, Josh came out on Monday to look at it and give us an estimate. He was very helpful, answered all our questions and discussed the various options. By Monday afternoon we had the estimate. After we gave them the go-ahead, they ordered the parts. Once the parts arrived (a few days), they called to schedule. The technician was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did a very neat and thorough job. He was eager to discuss our concerns and make sure we understood what he was doing. We were pleased with how everything turned out, all our dealings with them were pleasant and professional.

On time, quick, friendly technician. Came out the day after contacting the company.
