It went wonderful! One of the best experiences of my life. Everything was so smooth. My windows have drastically changed my energy bills. They are completely worth it! Their price is fair, the quality is amazing, and everybody in the company did everything possible to delight me and my husband. 13 windows and 1 patio door were installed in a day... Only a few weeks from the point of sale. I love everything about this process. nothing was stressful. Such a contrast to other companies we've dealt with. When we compared other quotes we had recieved side by side..we saw how much we would have been ripped off had we gone with sombody else. Completely satisfied with everything and we will be doing business with them for more services in the future. I tell everybody about them. They were always quick to follow up with me if I had a question. They weren't hard to get ahold of which I really appreciated. Wonderful company that's been around for a long time. Reliable, high quality products, excellent follow through! I'm completely delighted! Thank you Feldco!

Worst experience ever. I initially paid Sears $1500 up front to fully replace garage door system. But after 3 no call/no shows, I decided to go elsewhere. I then contacted Feldco. Salesman, Steve McCurdie, arrived September 2. I was quoted a price of $1388 to replace what I currently had, in that an insulated 2-car garage door system. It was agreed that the service would include EVERYTHING except for the door opener. I was instructed to purchase my own, in that they would install replacement for $1. This was discussed at great length, and agreed upon 3x, prior to signing the contract. A few days later, a technician arrived to measure the door. I confirmed everything with him. He stated there was an issue of the outside section with insulated stripping was not included in the quote. I immediately had him contact the Steve, in that he never returned his call. Technician quickly took his measurements and left within 5 minutes. Days later, I received a call from installers, Chad and Derek of Champion Garage Doors out of Peoria, IL, in that they would arrive Monday, September 25 to complete the installation. The installation process would take about 4 hours. The installers arrived on time. After removing my door, they removed the new one from their truck. I immediately pointed out, it was the wrong door. The installers stated it wasn't the first time this happened, and that they were fed up. They proceeded to unpack the door panels. The panels where badly damaged (As seen in images). Chad instructed Derek to use touch up paint to cover the damage. I was left the remainder of the bottle, in that to touch up any other damage I find at a later time (As seen in images). Chad stated that’s how the cheap doors come. That if I purchased the more expensive door, it would’ve arrived in a high quality of packaging. I was then informed that someone would be sent out to install the installation portion to the door at a later time. I immediately tried to contact Steve and Feldco. No response. I later received call from Joel. I went over the incident with him at detail. I was under the impression that he thought I was making this all up. Joel stated I would then receive a call from someone who would be out next day to take a look. To date, no one has returned. Another individual claiming to be the general manager called me the next day. After another exhausting conversation, I was left with the impression that nothing would be rectified. In fact, I ended up handing up on him. His sarcastic, condescending attitude I found offensive. All I was told was that I received the door that the salesman sold me, and that he had a signed contract. And that if I contacted an attorney, he felt that it was a waste of time. I explained that I didn't receive the door I paid for, in that it is just an extremely loud, aluminum piece of garbage. I told him that the loudness level would disturb my neighbors, in that they would complain to our homeowner's association. He literally laughed, in that stating that he doubts that would occur. I informed him, that would homeowner's associations are for. That was the extent of their so-called customer service feedback call. I regret that I didn't just pay $500 to replace myself. This entire experience reminded me of that news story years back about custom kitchen restorations, and the nightmares people experienced. Back when Empire was doing it. I sincerely wonder if this is the same company, but yet under yet another alias. I notified my neighbors and homeowner's association to advise no one to do business with Feldco or Champion Garage Doors. Both out of Peoria, IL.

Overall, I feel good about how the process with Feldco went. They do lock you into a fairly long sales pitch on the front end - to try to justify higher pricing. This is the only reason I lowered professionalism to a "B". The salesman was very nice and it wasn't an unpleasant conversation - but did feel like a bit of a game. If I didn't have a competitive quote I would have overpaid in my opinion. For the price - I feel like I got a better product than my lowest bid came in at - so I am happy there. I am most satisfied with install. They tell you that on the inside they were going to mount with unfinished quarter-round that you need to paint after they leave. My installers did the same vinyl/aluminum wrapping on my interior as they did on the exterior - meaning no painting and a very finished look to the product.

The purchase- the salesman was through and worked through all the options for the purchase of the front door. He made and error on the purchase sheet which was quickly corrected by the General Manager through email. The Salesman did call me a few days later to say there was something he was to go over - I told him the General Manager took care of it. Measuring and ordering - The Feldco rep came to my home for measurements and answered questions. Recommended I come by the showroom to look at the color of the door. I was able to see the door and was happy with my decision. I wanted to add a peep hole which the General Manager made happen at no additional charge. Delivery and installation - this is where the process fell apart. 1. The door arrived with the wrong window. I told them it was the wrong window pane and they said they would order the correct one and install it when it arrived - this step has not been complete at this time 2. The installer spent 8 hours to install the door on day one. At the end of the day he asked me what I thought. There was gap 2 1/2 feet long between the door and the jam that was wide enough to see daylight through. I told him this was unacceptable and while the door was beautiful it was not functional; he said he would come back the next day and work on it 3. Day 2 the installer spent the first 3-4 hours attempting to correct the gap in the door. He asked me what I thought and I stated I was not happy with the way it looked and while the gap was significantly less there were still discrepancies in the space between the door and the jam. Also, the inside left hand corner of the door did not sit flush with the jam like the other three corners of the door. The Feldo rep came by and asked me what I thought - I told him I was not happy with the install and it was not right yet - he stated that was" the best they could do" and if I had issues with air or wind they could install additional casing. My statement was - a brand new door should not need additional casing. His final comment was if I had problems I could call them and they would look at adjustments or a new install. At this point, I have not signed off on the door, I am waiting on the window to be installed and have called another door contractor for a 2nd opinion of the work that has been done.

Very professional. Did a great job. Thoughtful of my home when working and cleaned up everything after.

Its has been a very frustrating experience dealing with Feldco. The crew was sub-contracted by Feldco to do both the windows and the siding even though they told be during the sale they only contracted the siding. The crew was horrible. Very unprofessional and dirty. They broke one of the old windows when replacing it. The glass landed in the tarp they were using to protect the floor. When they moved to a different set of windows, they pulled the tarp from the 1st floor to the second, spilling glass as they went. Some of the windows would not open or close correctly and the caulk job was terrible. The sliding glass doors handles were put on upside down. The door would not open or close without screeching noise and the frame was bowed because they didn't seat it correctly. They re-mounted the satellite dish back to the siding only, not the frame and so the dish was sagging and pulling the siding out several inches from the house. It took several months but most of the issues have been fixed. Remaining Issues - They left pieces of the old, sharp aluminum siding hanging in a spot. The new siding is bulging in several places and look terrible. I do not know how many times Feldco has used this crew and I understand there are some questionable companies. What I don't understand is the lack of responsiveness from Feldco to make it right. This has been going on since Nov 2011. There customer service people call me about once a month to ask about my satisfaction. Every time they say it will get taken care of and Feldco does not accept shoddy workmanship but I haven't heard anything from their local office in 2 or 3 months now.

They did a good job.  They had it all done in one day.  I liked pretty much everything about them.  They were friendly.  They were pretty much able to do anything I asked them to do.  My overall experience with them was great and they did a good job.

They did a great job. They are very professional and I was very impressed with the windows they installed. Before I could not open the windows very easily, and now I am able to open the new ones without any problems. I have seen a big decrease in heating costs. The windows are very easy to clean. The workers were very nice and cleaned up after themselves. Everyone involved was very nice from the salesman to the installers.
