Worst ever! Didn’t even pay them they killed all of the plants that weren’t supposed to be touched. They drenched everything with harmful chemicals.

Company was not the right fit for my job

Jim was pleasant to speak with, asked me to text him all the info. I did, but never heard back from him, and moved on after a week. I re-verified I had texted the correct phone number.

Needed last minute yard cleanup before winter. They added me to the schedule even though it was the last day they were performing that service. Came out that same afternoon and did a great job.

I have been using Cuttin It Close for my lawn care for 2 summers now. They are prompt and responsive. When they sprayed fertilizer on my lawn they made sure to let me know so that I could keep my dog off of it until it dried. I requested that they take care of the ditch behind my fence (that looks like it should be done by the city) and they took care of it the next time they came out. Overall, I am very happy with the service.

They were fine. They were good. He seemed knowledgeable and he was friendly. He showed up when he said he would and did what they said they would do. I had no issues there. I guess it all came down to price. I think they were a little on the high side. The mulch was fine. It was in line with everybody else. But their general landscaping, I think it is a little on the high side.

Over all it was a good experience.  He was not as responsive as I would have liked.

I got in touch with them and they called me back shortly. Then, I arranged for the grass to be cut all summer. They cut it every week and they trimmed where necessary. They also did the leaves where necessary. They did a very good job. It was at my son's property that no one was living at. The house was for sale. When we checked on it, they had always done a good job and no one was even there to watch them. So, I like the fact that they are very reliable and that they can work on their own and don't need a supervisor. They know what their job is and they do it every week and you can count on it being done.

Jim was very helpful.  Almost every morning he would provide an update on the status and provide a description of what was planned and ask any questions.  The entire process of redoing our front yard(s) took about two weeks.  Jim and his team were very flexible regarding adding scope and making changes.

Jim came out to provide the initial quote and made suggestions to mortor in the existing brickwork and add mulch.  The work was done in a single day while I was at work and the site was picked up and clean when I returned.  A few issues were present which I notified Jim of via email.  Within 2 days they were corrected and the yard looks great.  I did not feel any pressure to accept additional services and felt Jim offered sincere and honest suggestions.  I would use Jim and his crew again for future projects.

Jim came out and bid the job to provide river rock landscaping around the outside of our house. He was not the cheapest bid, but he actually took the time to come out and visit with us one-on-one. He was told about our wishes to have the job done prior to our daughter's upcoming graduation party that was about a little more than a month away. Jim said that it would be no problem to complete the job. Jim indicated that his team could start around the beginning of May because there were two jobs scheduled prior to ours. Jim indicated that the work could be done the first week in May. That date passed by. Mid-May rolled around, and Jim had yet to complete the work. In fairness, we experienced a lot of rain the closer we got to the graduation party, but we were starting to get pretty worried that the work would not be done in time. Finally, the week of the party (party was on Saturday, and the work was done by Thursday), they did the job. It looked very nice. Jim was asked about weeds coming up through the rock. Jim said they used a very heavy commercial mesh that prevented weeds so we should expect to be weed-free. We are having weeds. We have a call into Jim about it, and he is on vacation, so we are waiting for him to call us back.

Always respectful and prompt. Very nice work and always clean up afterwards! I always make sure to give the guys tea and lemonade, too! They work very hard!
