At the beginning we had extreme faith in this man due to his confidence. However, his work never showed any reason for confidence. He tried to tile our floor TWO different times and still could not get it right. He blamed this on the leveler (that we witnessed him mixing in the wrong way). When we finally asked him to pull up the mess he has made he stated that he couldn't because he has no where to dump it. This has since resulted in my 18 month old daughter falling and getting a cut on her back from the screws left in our floor (see pictures). He also came to us on two different occassions needing more money. His cell phone was getting cut off pretty regularly. The Friday before Labor Day weekend he left and never showed back up. His phone was disconnected so it took us two weeks to get a hold of him. When we finally spoke with him he told us he had ran out of money and could not even afford to get back to Peoria. At one point when we tried to pay him with a check he told us he could not accept it. He then told us how he does not have a bank account because he owned them too much money. Also never showed up to work on time and left for hours at a time. Was always having to stay home and babysit him to make sure he did not leave. At one point he blamed his hours of absence on a court case he was giong through. He was getting sued by a former customer... imagine that. Just for us to have someone pull up the mess he left on our floor costs $2,000
