Auto Service
Completely horrible. We were told it was going to be $25 to do an inspection on the car and check it out and we asked them to see where an oil leak was. We also mentioned the timing seemed to be off, so we asked them to listen to that while they were looking. We were told to bring the car in on Wednesday and they would check it out and call us. We dropped it off and called on Wednesday to see what they found. They said the appointment was on Tuesday (which is NOT what we were told) so they couldn't start looking at it until Thursday. We called them on Thursday and they said they still hadnt put it up on the rack to look under it and it wouldn't be until Monday for them to be done. Then it took them until Monday to call us back. Went down there to see what was wrong with the car and they said it would cost $175. When asked why it was so much (since we were told $25 on two different occasions) the man said he did 4 hours worth of work on the car on Thursday, including plugging in a sensor and a few other small things. (Which was NOT part of the agreement - we only asked for an estimate/inspection). The man then accused me of trying to get the work done for free when I pointed out that they initially said it would be 25 for the inspection. They offered to charge me $80 instead of the 175 and I paid it because I was tired of dealing with them. They also said the reason they did the repairs they did (without calling me and getting my permission) because "most people usually get the repairs done there" . This has to be the worst experience ever dealing with these people. They were completely unorganized and for them to have my car for 6 days is just unbelievable.
