The contractor failed to obtain the proper zoning permits and variances. I received notice of the zoning violations after he had already excavated my yard. The contractor repeatedly failed to show up when he said he would. The contractor sent an employee to my house on a Saturday to collect on a bill that, unbeknownst to me, a friend had already paid on my behalf. The contractor does not return calls. The contractor does not keep me informed of the status of the job. The contractor did not haul away trash from the job. He used my dumpster, often leaving no room for the household trash. The contractor repeatedly blocked my driveway with his vehicles. I have not been given any warranty, safety or operating information for the sump pump, the garage door opener, the garage door or the lighting. The concrete was poured in February and covered with plastic, leaving it unsightly. The quality of the work on the retaining wall, especially around the steps is inferior. This project started in mid October. It is April and the work still isn't finished.
