Great service.  I didn't have an emergency door issue so I called and got an appointment a couple of days out.   They called me before showing up and got there on time.  The tech, Scott, was in and out in no time and did a great job.  It was very much appreciated as I had to take my son to the doctor that day too.   I will definitely use Midwest for future garage door work.

On time, very courteous, professional, knowledgable, and reasonable. This was our second quote & we decided to have them perform the work. Couldn't have asked for a better company to do the work!

It was very reasonable but I don't remember how much it was. They were very thorough and they explained everything and they fixed the problem. He explained everything thoroughly what he was doing and things so I guess that would be professional.

It was $1100. They measured and just looked at the opening and talk to me about options for doors. I selected one that they said to order it wasn't in stock and it took about 3 weeks. I already purchase a new opener so I just used the one I had. It works fine. The salesman wasn't professional as he should have been. Well basically the guy who build the house was a architect. I had actually glass windows above the door and the small ones across. He was suggesting that they wouldn't be strong enough to hold the new door because of the mechanism they used and that I needed to think about just have the taking the windows taken out and having the garage door windows in them. He was kind of pushing that. At the same time my guys were former garage door people themselves they told him to back off about that. Once that happen his tune was suddenly that he like the windows, once they spoke. After that everything was fine. He was just a little overbearing and pushy about his views. They got the doors install and there wasn't any problems at all. The installers knew exactly what to do and they just break it up and install it slightly differently. If I hadn't had my guys there he would have talked me into something different. The installers were very professional.

My garage door broke where I couldn't open it.  I called them and they said they would get back to me next week.
Response from Midwest Garage Door Co
"Unfortunately our service schedule is booked out a couple of days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Remember that the door was installed in 2003 and is no longer under warranty. We believe that the review has been left unfairly and represents we did a poor job for you recently when we did not perform work for you we just couldn't get to you as quickly as you would have liked. Again I apologize that we could not perform the service for you in a satisfactory timeframe."

Installers were professional, knowledgable and quick. Materials and quality of workmanship on the install met or exceeded my expectations. Scheduling took a little back and forth because they tend to wait until they have multiple installs in the area...which made sense to me. Keeping their expenses down keeps my expenses down. They setup passwords for keypads and setup and tested all opener remotes....they even set up any homelink remotes that were in my vehicles.

I was able to set up an appointment the very next day when it fit into my schedule. He arrived on time and did all the work I'd requested by fixing the door and reprogramming the keypad promptly and even fixed something I didn't realize weren't performing as they should. The light was out on the control panel. He was very helpful and efficient and the door has been running smoothly so far. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Russell from Midwest showed up on time for our appointment and was very polite and professional. My garage door had been rattling and screeching, stopping midtrack, etc. It is a very old unit, and I anticipated the door opener would need replacing. While Russell was there, I asked if he wouldn't mind replacing my weather seal on the door as well. He took care of that and greased the tracks, making sure the rollers would glide smoothly. He also helped me secure my garage door when I mentioned I was concerned that it didn't lock without the motor working (it doesn't have a separate lock). About half of the fee I was charged was for the service call, which will be taken off the balance for installation next week. It may or may not be the same guy coming, so I will write a second review after the new system is installed. Thanks, Midwest! Great service from their administrative office too. Looking forward to my next appointment.

They installed a new belt drive opener a few days later. Quality service and sold what was needed. Also, Inspected the springs and recognized they were close to breaking. Said to wait until they did, could be soon or could go for awhile. Didn't attempt to oversell at the time. When the spring snapped about six months later I called them to replace them. Received the same prompt courteous service from customer service to installation technician. Would highly recommend.

It went great. They arrived on time and installed the doors promptly. They did leave a cigarette butt or two on the ground and could have cleaned up after themselves a little better, but the work they preformed was good.
