We called Joseph after our orginal contractors flooring teams left our oak floor in a state of disrepair and said that there was no way to make the floor any better. The original contractor worked on the floor at 3 separate times. Each time the floor would get worse and worse. Joseph came in and stripped the finish off of the entire floor, sanded the floor and removed the imperfections left by the contractors teams and then restained and sealed the floor to a lusterous finish. It took Joseph a little extra time but it was well worth the wait. He is a true artist.

Joseph did a great job. He is very professional, clean and a perfectionist. He took the time to match the new floor to the adjacent floor. Very happy with the results.

Work was done professionally, on budget and on time. The quotation was superior in that everything was included and understood, he had done this type of work many times before. The finished product completely upgraded our home. I have and will continue to be an excellent reference for Joseph. We selected him based on our friends referral. We ended up selling our house the next year and the floors absolutely made a difference. We were told by a competing realtor that our house showed the best of any in Glen Ellyn at the time.

Exceeded all of our expectations. He is an artist and overcame every obstacle.

Joseph does wonderful work, he is a perfectionist, and it shows. He was punctual and professional from estimate to end. The work was done while we were away on vacation, He didn't have much (none) lead time but was able to fit me in, even though my job took an entire week. He even went above and beyond the call of duty by cleaning coils on my refrigerator and fixing my furnace when he discovered it was not working properly, saving me $$$$ AND time, a Godsend since it was days before Christmas.

The project was performed by an old-world craftsman whose work is beautiful. Joseph is a perfectionist who really cares about his work and responds to requests promptly. Our floors make us happy ever time we walk in the house!

He exceeded all of our expectations. I have had experiences with contractors, not knowing what you're really getting and feeling not so hot after the job is done. Oh geez, what just happened here. Did I get what I paid for and how do I really know? With Joseph, I was kind of like geez what other things can I have this guy do. I believe in paying for quality workmanship and after the transaction is done I love knowing I got exactly, if not more, than I paid for. I would give Joseph the highest marks possible for a job well done. He took the time to sort through 1,400 feet of hardwood and quarantine the questionable pieces to be placed where the counters are going. He also The floor is solid and the Brazilian Tigerwood looks incredible. Unique and full of grain, the compliments never stop from house guests. Going from shag to clean hardwood flooring that looks gorgeous will be a decision we never regret. I hope to post pictures very soon.

Overall, I was very pleased with their service and finished product. The floors in this house have received many compliments.

In short all commitments and expectations both written and verbal were met or exceeded. Iosef is a true craftsman and professional. He and his helpers were also top notch, courteous and personable. The job took 4 weeks as planned. Several surprises were discovered when removing the old floor and every problem presented by these surprises was successfully solved. We went on vacation for the first week and were comfortable leaving Iosef a key to let himself in and out while out of town. Iosef gave us frequent updates and even sent pictures on the progress via the internet. Iosef and his helper worked 10-12 hour days while we were gone to assure that we could move back in after a week. The result is beautiful wood floors on the entire first floor with the exception of the bathroom that was redone in tile. Iosef carefully measured the subfloors which allowed a completely smooth and flat transition from the wood floors to the bathroom tile. Iosef tore out and built a level sub floor for the tile in the bathroom but someone else installed the tile. The site was kept clean as possible during the entire process and no damage was caused to anything else. Iosef also willingly shared advice on everything from felt for furniture, how to move the refrigerator using fiberboard, to future care of the floors. Iosef was recommended by a friend who had a similar job done. I have already recommended Iosef to 2 people considering wood floor work.

Originally hired Joseph to refinish and repair my family room floor, but I was so impressed with his work I asked him to quote the installation of new hardwood floors and railing. His prices were extremely reasonable, his workmanship top notch and his attention to detail was was outstanding. He takes pride in his work and is not satisfied until he has achieved perfection. I found him to be honest, punctual and hardworking.
