BONO CONSULTING

This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. While they delivered the plans in the promised time frame, we spent more than an hour driving to pick up the plans, only to find out that they didn't include a 5-foot offset for the parking pad from our property line, which is required by the village. This is something Bono should have known to include. We asked them to redraw the plans, but the second set of plans didn't include the dimensions of the parking pad, which resulted in a delay in the approval process with our village. Then the plans were rejected by the village engineer over concern that not moving the existing draining would ultimate lead to freezing water underneath the parking pad, which would ruin the concrete. This is something our concrete contractor confirmed and, again, something Bono should have known to address in our plans without prompting. So we had to go back a third time to ask for changes to the plans. Lastly, they sent us a "second notice" on our final invoice, even though we paid it back when we picked up our plans. In summary, nearly every aspect of this project was screwed up -- the engineering, the drawing of the plans and the billing. We would not hire them again, nor would we refer them to anybody we know.
