We called Hilton to report that our pump was defective, not providing water pressure. Two men arrived July 1, examined the system and advised me that our pump was defective. (duh!) They replaced a good pressure switch with another. Labor: two men, two hours each= $240.00 + $35.00 switch. They said they do not carry pumps, that we had to go elsewhere to purchase a pump. We did so, and the next day, two men came and detached the old pump and replaced it with the new one I had purchased. They forgot a connection, and returned to their shop with a delay of about 20 minutes. Labor, two men, an hour and a quarter each= $150. The first visit was unnecessary, since they had no replacement unit. The switch was unnecessary. The nominal labor should have been less than an hour to replace the pump. Two men @ $60 per hour = $120.00
