"[member name removed] presented her cat for emergency care June 2012. Her cat was critically ill with a bleeding disorder and multiple organ failure. Her charges related to her bill included 2 days of hospitalization, radiographs, serial CBC's, chemistry panel, intravenous catheter and fluids as well as multiple injections of different medications over the course of 2 days. Her cat's condition deteriorated on the second day of hospitalization. Humane euthanasia was elected to stop any further pain and suffering. [member name removed] elected to have her cat privately cremated to have her ashes returned. Her bill for all care including cremation was $874.21. We always provide clients with a detailed estimate of care and give routine detailed updates during the course of a patients care. We are very sorry for [member name removed] loss. We appreciate her continued confidence in our care."
