Dave is punctual, courteous and great at what he does. He is attentive to details: his tuning is accurate and thorough.

Dave gave us an immense amount of useful advice when we were looking for a used piano. There are a lot of used pianos out there but it's very difficult for an amateur to know how to go about buying one. Dave helped. After we finally finally found a piano we liked and could afford, he came and tuned it. (The piano was in Milwaukee, so we had another technician inspect it before we bought it. Otherwise Dave would have done that.) Dave was prompt, professional, and reasonably priced.

We had tuners in the past and he is always on time. He has great follow up. He has someone from his office who calls you to remind you about your schedule. He is professional. He is very neat on what he does. He is careful and does a good job tuning it. It stays tuned and it doesn't go off tune right away. He does it well. He did an extra cleaning for me wherein he vacuumed it out a little bit. He is very thorough.

Dave arrived on time and spent 2 hours tuning my piano. It hadn't been tuned in 2 years and during that time I moved to a new house -- so the piano was very much in need of a tuning. Dave took his time and was extremely thorough.

Dave is very prompt, and arrived exactly on time. The tuning and cleaning was done in two sessions and each day he was punctual. Dave was very professional and quiet and did not waste time with unnecessary talk. He brought with him everything that he needed, including a vacuum and paper towels. I don't have the piano tuned often but I would call him again and definitely refer friends to him.

Went swimmingly. Called Dave in the AM and he came over that evening. Showed up on time and stayed until the job was complete. Very professional. I will recommend him to all my piano playing friends and also call him again when I need a tune up. Thank you to Angie's list for recommending.

I have a Steinway grand piano, and so I'm pretty particular about who works on it. Dave is terrific. The quality of the piano tuning is superb. Aside from that, he knows a lot about the construction of pianos and is always able to fix anything that is not quite right. This year I had a slightly squeaky pedal, and he fixed it easily and quickly. His prices are reasonable, he is punctual, he always finds time in his schedule to get me in quickly (because of course I never call in advance), and he does a great job. A+ in my opinion.

Mr. Lukitsch was prompt, professional and more than competent. I had purchased my used piano only a few days earlier, and he generously took the time needed to make it sound as good as possible, and still charged a very reasonable price. I have owned several pianos in the past and have considerable experience with piano tuners/technicians, and Mr. Lukitsch was excellent. I would highly recommend him.

Dave was very professional, timely, and very reasonable. We hadn't tuned the piano in years so it was not easy. Dave found a broken string and replaced, tuned it up, and it sounds great! We plan to use home from this point forward as our daughter will start taking piano lessons now.

This is the second time we have hired Mr. Lukitsch. My wife's piano had several keys that would depress when one was pressed. Turned out our two year old son had dropped a pen into the piano. Mr. Lukitsch removed the pen, solving the problem, but took the time to look over the piano and tuned it. Mr. Lukitsch is truly dedicated to his craft and provides service that is second to none! As I mentioned before, this was the second time we hired Mr. Lukitsch and we couldn't think of hiring anyone else for our piano tuning or repair needs.

He was excellent. The piano still sounds great. I'll be calling on him again soon.

Mr. Dave arrived on time and was very professional and diligent at the job. He worked 2+ hours non-stop. We liked the result much and will surely call him again for future tunings.

I called and left a message, and he called back later that same day. He was willing to come out right away, although the next day worked out better for me. He showed up right on time and got right to work. He didn't mind my dog, which is nice because I always hate having to put her behind a gate when people are working at my house. I was curious about the age of my piano, so he looked it up for me and told me it was made in 1959. My piano had not been tuned in a very long time, and had also recently been moved from another house. I was concerned that there would be issues tuning it, but he didn't seem to have any problems. It took a few hours, and the piano is now perfectly tuned! Plus, he charged less than the other people I called for quotes. I'll definitely call him again the next time my piano needs tuning.

He was on time. The work took about 2 hours and my house was very hot but Dave didn't complain. I have set him up to come out again next year for the annual tuning.

Dave was soft-spoken and very nice. He arrived on time and went right to work. He spent about 3 1/2 hours tuning and cleaning the piano. My son, who is the piano player in the family, was home for a visit couldn't wait to sit down to try it out. The piano sounded beautiful and we were thrilled. All of the stellar reviews that I read on Angie's List were correct. Dave was absolutely top-notch and we will definitely call him next year for another piano tuning. We paid him a bit extra than the price I mentioned--he deserved it!

He spent 2.5 hours tuning it and cleaning it. He only charged $90 bucks. My Piano is a 30 year old Baldwin and it sounds better than my girlfriend's brand new piano. Thanks Dave

We are very pleased with Dave's work. He arrived on time and got to work. The piano hadn't been tuned for quite some time, so the job took about two and half hours from start to finish. But he was careful, thorough, and meticulous throughout. In addition to the tuning he vacuumed the inside to clear out the dust. The instrument sounds so much better now. We will not hesitate to use his services again and recommend him to our friends and family.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received from Dave. I called him up to tune our piano, and he was able to come out that same day. He came right on time, and worked for 2 hours on our piano, tuning it, and vacuuming the inside, fixing anything that was out of whack (we had one key that was sticking), and then filing down the felt on the hammers. The last person who tuned our piano charged us over $110 and spent less than an hour on our piano. Dave was very meticulous and did way more than what I was expecting. He only charged me $90, but I gave him an extra $10. He was very courteous, professional, and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more.

I called Dave to make an appointment to have a recently purchased used piano tuned. I called in the morning, he was able to come over in the afternoon. He was courteous, offered to remove shoes, etc., very thorough and overall did a great job. He was here over an hour. I would call again for future tuning services.
