Dave is meticulous when it comes to tuning a piano. He will take as long as necessary to get the tuning just right. I have used his services twice now and plan to continue calling on him in the future.

Dave came on time and got right to work on the piano which had not been tended to for over ten years. He was courteous and did excellent work. I highly recommend him.

Arrived on time. Worked steadily for 3 hours. After he was finished, asked if I was satisfied with the tone. Did not make any derogatory comments about the piano - which was sorely out of tune. Very competitive price. Excellent service. Try him.

It went really well. He worked within the time window that we available. He had no trouble getting in and getting it finished.

This is an outstanding piano tuner. Dave arrived on time and was meticulous in the work he did on my piano. Not only did he tune it, but he cleaned and adjusted it. He spent three hours and my piano has never sounded better. (And I have had other tuners on a regular basis.) I can't believe he only charged $85. I cannot say enough good things about his service and highly recommend him.

I called Dave and he came the next day. He showed up exactly on time and went right to work. He did a thorough job in not only tuning, but cleaning the piano inside and out. Because I had gotten information on Dave's charges from the Angie's List website, I did not ask for a cost estimate before he came out; it ended up that he didn't charge enough for his excellent services. I had initially e-mailed Dave directly from the e-mail link on Angie's List, but I didn't receive a call or reply. E-mails can get lost in cyberspace. So after waiting a couple weeks, I called Dave instead and got an immediate response. I did not mention the e-mail to Dave because his response to my call was so good. I would not hold that against him, but I am writing it to let future customers know that in any business situation, if you don't hear after an e-mail, assume it was lost and make the call instead.

After many long years of being "just too busy" with my "day job" to make time for music-making, I was overtaken with great longing to get my piano back in shape so I could play and compose again. A gift from some fellow artists in appreciation for helping them out with their website gave me the money and motivation to do something about it. I found myself with some rare time at home for a few days this week(so I could have someone in to do the work)and looked on Angie's List for local possibilities. I was impressed with Mr. Lukitsch's ratings and decided to give him a call on the odd chance that he could fit me into his schedule on short notice. The next morning he was at my house right on time. Quiet and reserved, Mr. Lukitsch entered my house, went straight to my piano, and immediately set to work. He spent almost 2 hours meticulously and thoroughly tuning and caring for it. I worked nearby on my computer, occasionally pausing to watch him, and quietly marveling at his absorption in his work. As he finished up, he asked me about my training, and we had a pleasant exchange of conversation about our respective backgrounds in music, influences, favorite musical styles and performers, etc. He answered a few questions I had about some cracks in some of the key surfaces, and seemed knowledgeable. He asked me to try the piano out while he was there so he could do any tweaking necessary. I had Chopin's 15th Prelude at the ready-The sound and the action was so much better I could have leaped for joy. No tweaking necessary-it was right on. Mr. Lukitsch had on the phone quoted $85 for the tuning and minor maintenance. I wrote the check for $100-the work was well worth it, and he was so accommodating of my last-minute call. He will certainly get my business in the future(and I am relieved to have found a tuner that is local, professional, affordable, and accommodating so I can make keeping my piano in shape an on-going priority)and I have already recommended him to a friend in need of some expert tuning and maintenance on a much older and out of shape piano than mine.

I contacted Dave through e-mail. He was very flexible and worked completely around my schedule. He arrived on time and spent a good deal of time discussing my piano, the options I had and what he could do for it. He also checked out another piano for me while there. The project was quite an undertaking, including replacing a missing string. It took him quite awhile and still charged exactly what he estimated.

Our daughter, who plays the piano, says it has never sounded so good.

Dave arrived on time and went straight to work. He tuned the piano and even made suggestions on the piano's tone and adjusted it accordingly. He identified and thoroughly explained the damaged I had seen. I feel he did a very good job.

Excellent. We called Dave and he was able to come out within the week. Came with his tuning forks and tools and did an excellent job.

Courteous and professional. (Has a bit of a quiet phone manner.) Excellent ear and great attention to detail.

I called Dave to set up an appointment to tune my piano. I got his answering service and left a message to call me back. He was very prompt in calling me back and set up an appointment a day or two later. Since my piano is 59 years old, he was ever so careful in removing finished wood panels in order to tune the piano. He did not hurry but worked on the keys until he was sure and satisfied with each tone and sound. Afterward he vacuumed in and around the tuning pins and below inside and in back of the peddles to remove the dust that had accumulated over time. Dave's work was excellent.

I called Dave and he was able to come to the house that day. He seemed a little quiet on the phone. However, my piano playing nine year old wouldn't leave him alone while he tuned the piano. He was very kind and took the time to show him what he was doing. The piano had not been tuned in over ten years and he did a wonderful job.
