WALTS LAWN MAINTENANCE

I used this lawn service for over 10 years. They did a good job of cutting my lawn, however, they were a little over-priced. My frustration with them came to a boiling point when I called them about trimming my bushes. I left a message on their answering machine but they never called me back. This wouldn't be so bad except that this is about the 3rd or 4th year that this has happened to me. Why do they bother having an answering machine if they are not going to listen and respond to the messages? Very unprofessional I think. I finally got fed up and terminated their services.

We are billed on a monthly basis, there is no membership. We pay $27.50 a week.

Great service, I contaced Walts in late April through email using the Angie's List link and was quickly qouted $35 for weekly lawn service. I thought the price was fair and asked him to start around Mid May on Fridays if possible. He was booked on Fridays but was able to squeeze me in on Thursdays. They have cut my lawn twice now and I am quite happy with the service. They do a great job and are in and out in no time.

Our church has used them for landscaping needs for years and we have been happy with their service and prices.

See above for previous review - I am editing it now since the day I wrote that review, Walt called me afterwards and offered to send someone out that same day. Our lawn was in desperate need so I agreed. As he promised, they were there same day at the time he estimated to me on the phone. They did a good job, they mowed, edged and weed-wacked the front, side and back yard. It looks nice and they even blew away any clippings from our sidewalk and the neighbor's driveway (which is right next to our sidewalk). No complaints on the work done at all.

Walt's was servicing my neighbors lawn for several years. I was unhappy with my current service and tried Walt's. It has been two years now without complaint.

Great service. Promt. Loved the way they do the lawn. The way they bill is great. They are fast.

I had contacted several landscaping companies for pricing for a fall clean-up as well as weekly grass care for 2012. I let this sit for a couple of weeks before making a decision and called Walt to let him know I wanted to use his services. It took several days for him to get back to me, but the work was completed right away. My only complaint was on the cleanup. There were some clippings left lying around from trimming the bushes and trees, but not enough for me to call him back to clean up.Would hire again.

I was very pleased with the bush trimming. They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. Although they were supposed to come in June, they did not come until July but the weather was uncooperative this spring and early summer. I was also pleased with the outcome of the second job, but it wound up costing more than anticipated. Although I was given a quote on the phone, I believe I misunderstood it. I never met with Walt in person, just dealt with him on the phone, and never asked for a written estimate. If you deal with this company, I would insist on a written estimate. In terms of the quality of the work, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The workers arrive once a week and get right to work. They don't even need to knock on the door they just come and take care of business and when they leave it looks beautiful.

They do a wonderful job, they are the greatest. They are extremely reliable. He's a good guy and his men are very, very good. I can depend on him, they do a great job. It's a very good deal and I've paid $145 each month from the very beginning. They did a beautiful job replacing the lawn and they put in the retaining wall and those services were extra. It was very reasonable. They came and got it done. I came home one day from work and all the grass is gone, then I came home another day and all the grass was down, they work fast. I have had a lot of luck with them.

They seem to be caring people. If you tell them something is wrong, they will correct it right away. They come the same day, and the same time. I really like the owner.

I am very pleased with their service. They do wonderful cleanup after their work is done. I feel they are very cheap compared to other companies.
