This has got to be one of the worst mortgage companies because they deliberately lie to their customers promising something that they know is not realistic and/or obtainable. Loan officer Derek Hudland has no clue what he is doing and straight out lies to his clients about what they can afford. I was involved in a transaction which required 4 mortgage extensions from Derek. Turned out (3 months later) that the buyer had no chance in obtaining a mortgage for even half the amount promised by Derek. Also, when the matter was escalated to his manager Tim Huss, he also gave everyone the run around. If you want to avoid wasting your and everyone's time, please seek a creditable mortgage company.

Description of Work: Pacor was my lender for a home purchase. The loan officer was very responsive - he almost always answered the phone on the first ring, and got back to me right away when I left a message. He was also very knowledgeable and explained the loan application and underwriting process. Our closing occurred as scheduled. Our loan officer, Tony, was great. That said, there were the usual silly requests for documentation that we had already provided, and I had concerns about how our financial information was secured. There was no way to submit materials via encryption to ensure that our personal information was protected. While Pacor agreed to work to get me a better rate to match an offer from another lender, we ultimately did not get that better rate in spite of interest rates falling. The origination fees were good, they came through with the loan, and they were very responsive. I would use them again, but only if they offered the best rate and had systems in place to secure my personal information.

 + -1 moreFrom the beginning of the loan process, Tim Huss explained everyting in detail to my clients which eliminated any surprises as we approached the loan closing date. Tim is more on top of his files than any other loan officer I have worked with in the past. He definitely takes a personal interest in each and every one of his files.
Description of Work: For anyone considering to refinance their mortgage or obtain a loan to purchase a new property, I would strongly recommend contacting Tim Huss (708) 989-1361 with Pacor Mortgage Corp. I am a Real Estate Attorney based out of Tinley Park and have now had the pleasure of being the attorney on several deals that Tim has been the loan officer. The transactions close in a timely fashion with no problems and his clients expectations are definitely satisfied. I have been involved with hundreds of transactions with various lenders and I wish everyone of them could have Tim as the loan officer.  + -1 moreI called Tim about refinancing and he was able to give us three options on what Pacor could offer and I chose the best option for me. I was able to set up a time to meet face to face and he drove out to our personal home to go over all of the loan disclosures on the option which I had chosen. The process was seamless and I cannot say enough about Tim Huss and the over all experience using Pacor Mortgage Corp and he was able to credit all of the closing costs back to us so it was a true no cost refinance!
