Their faulty installation of something as basic as a downspout on my house caused flooding in my basement. Mr. Lang came out and blamed my house and me for his subpar work! He left my house that day and never got back to me displaying a complete lack of integrity. The workmanship guarantee on his contract means NOTHING! I filed a claim with his liability insurer, Auto Owners, and got resolution that way. Mr. Lang wouldn't accept responsibility, but his liability insurer, and the forensic engineer they sent to my house to investigate, saw the problem and I was compensated for the damages caused by his careless work.

When removing the old shingles they threw them off the roof in every direction into the yard. I voiced concerns to the supervisor about the nails in the yard and he assured me he would personally supervise the clean up on the last day. When they finished the job and left I found hundreds of nails EVERYWHERE. In the yard, in the landscaping, in the driveway, in the street. As if this wasn't bad enough I had to pick up 20 cigarette butts the workers left in the yard as well. Every day I'm finding more nails and the kids cannot play in the yard. I wish I could include pictures.

did a great job. bought new home it needed new roof. couldn't get insurance until roof was on. they were very accommodating and fit us in so I could get insurance. did a great job.

The work was completed in a timely manner and, more importantly, seemed to fix the problem. I am very pleased with Lang Exteriors as other companies came out to address the problem, but claimed to not have a solution. There is absolutely no evidence that the leak is continuing. Thank you!!

They came right out the next day. He came out and took a look at it and he couldn't really see where my leak was. He saw a couple of possible places, but anyways he took care of those. He was just so nice, the guy that came out. His name was Dan Artus. I hadn't had another leak. Their responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism were all excellent.

This is an update of my review from last year. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this service provider. Lang replaced our roof and siding in Oct of 2015. The North side of the house began to show problems within a few weeks of the siding install. The siding (LP) began to bow away from the house and most of the siding looked wavy. We contacted Lang 12/16/15 about the problem and he said he would be out 12/18/16 and was a no call no show. His crew showed up unannounced on 12/19/16 and re-nailed the siding that bowed and told us it was fine. On 12/21/16 we noticed the siding looked wavy again and contacted Lang. We were concerned ice and water had got behind the siding and damaged it. Lang said he would be out 12/23/16 and was a no call no show. We contacted him in Jan 2016 and were told he was on vacation and would be out when he returned. We did not see him again until March 2016 after we called again. He claimed it was product failure and would only replace 6 of the boards. I had requested that the entire north side be replaced and Lang said it was unnecessary. When his installer came out he got into a verbal argument with my husband and told us he could replace the boards but it was going to look exactly the same because we basically put paper on our house. A new crew was sent out and the six boards replaced. Lang and the new installer told us that for every 4 nails only 1 actually hit a stud on the original install. It was not product failure it was a bad install. We contacted Lang 10/10/16 and sent photos showing the siding still looks wavy. He said he would be out to look at it and to date has not called or shown up. This is in addition to the fact when they wrapped our porch posts they were crooked and never told us there was a problem during the install and when we pointed it out they told us there was nothing they could do about it. However, my husband was able to fix the problem. The entire situation is completely unacceptable and I would NOT recommend this service provider!!!!! We should not have to chase this service provider down and repeatedly ask to have this made right.

"As much as we try, not all jobs go perfectly. In this situation the North wall siding began to buckle in part because the material expanded after installation & then contracted during the winter months and because not all the nails hit the studs which holds the siding securely to the wall. When we were made aware of the problem the first thing we did was order three new siding panels and replaced them as soon as possible. Since this was a custom order in both profile and color getting it took some time. During the next several months, more of the siding continued to buckle. Since this happened, we replaced the entire North wall with new siding. Certainly we do our best to provide top quality materials and installation on every project we do. I would encourage anyone to drive past this home and look at the roof, siding, soffit, fascia & gutters. This is a custom home in a very nice neighborhood. We want to show off our work. Our Sales Rep. Dustin, was extremely thorough when quoting the job. He had many samples to choose from, than any other company. The color he suggested was spot on. The pricing was accurate and to quote without any overruns. The installers John & Mike were prompt, courteous, incredibly articulate in their skills taking no shortcuts and correcting previous problems created by other installers. The owner Bill and Dustin came by every day during the installation, to see how things were going and to answer questions or to see if we had any concerns. Clean up was done daily by John, Mike, Tristan and Jim. All in all, I would highly recommend Lang Home Exteriors to family and friends. Would certainly hire again.

Dan was wonderful to work with. He came out right away to give me an estimate. The work on the freeze board and skylights was excellent. We had a slight problem with the aluminum flashing caulk being too thick but it was resolved and communication with Dan was excellent. I would highly recommend this company.
