We had several meetings with him to go over the general ideas for the bathroom and get the estimate. then once we picked him we moved on to specifics. The original price was $7000. He referred us to stores and showrooms that he contracts with for tiles, marble counter top, etc. The bid he gave us, he CLAIMED, covered all materials and labors. Unfortunately, we did not catch that he didn't include the shower door and frame and labor charge. So the price went up $1000. He and his workers did show up on time always. He was very pleasant. We did need extra work because there was some mold behind the shower and the original electrical and plumbing work was not to code. So that added another $500 which was fine. The quality of the materials are very good but the installation of his work is the problem. 1) The floor slants by the bathroom door. 2 )The shower handle was not installed correctly. 3) The toilet seat still moves and 4) the hinge on the vanity is off. He said he would come back and fix these problems but UNFORTUNATELY my husband payed the final bill and we never saw or heard from again. 12 PHONE CALLS, MESSAGES AND EMAILS WENT UNANSWERED.
