KITCHEN & BATH MART

new cabinets counter tops toilet shower and floors. after a great experience remodeling our kitchen we had the kitchen bathmart team modernize our outdated bathroom. really wonderful design followed by expert craftsmanship. the whole organization once again did an outstanding job.

We needed to fully renovate our first floor full bathroom. It had a tub and we wanted to put a bigger walk in shower with a glass door in its place, along with all new items-- rain shower, vanity, toilet, sconces, lighting, vent, etc. Additionally, taking off wallpaper and repainting. Joe Dhamer and his staff treated me with prompt, personoalized, attention from the moment I reached out to them. I contacted them via Angie's List after seeing other great reviews. Joe called me back the same day and then came out the next day to view the bathroom. I went to their showroom which had many items to see in person. I knew I wanted to do glass tile and a vanity color other than white, but no ideas or clear vision beyond that. He was extremely helpful in choosing style, colors, items, etc. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted, but would not have been able to achieve if he had not pointed me in the right direction. Once I received the quote for everything, I told him I would like to wait on the project. I really liked the fact that he then left me alone and did not pressure to move forward right away with a contract. After a couple months, we decided we were ready to move forward with the contract and begin the work. They ordered the items right away and it took them about a month for them to be ready, including our custom items like the vanity, shower bench, etc. It was great that they had all the items ready in such a timely fashion and I wasnt waiting months for them to complete the custom items. They started the demolition in mid october and the entire bathroom was completely done by October 31st, including the painting. We were really impressed with how quickly and efficiently they finished the project. Especially because the glass tile had to be hand cut on site to make sure it lined up perfect. During the project the project, they were extremely professional and clean. Everyday they showed up early in the morning and worked all day. The project never sat there without someone working on it. Joe stopped by to check on the project throughout the building process and was in constant communication with me. If I sent him an email or called him, he would get back to me very quickly and in most cases would come to my house to discuss right away.But I was never contacting him about any problems, just some items I couldnt make up my mind on (where to place the shower basket). Dennis was also very hands on and helpful throughout the process. He stopped by to check on the project, and when I had to choose grout colors he came by himself with all of the grout options and took the time to help me decide. From a legal standpoint-- I also appreciated the fact that they sent me the certificates of Insurance from all of the vendors before the project started. Their assistant Sophie sent them to me without any question or delays. As well as a final lein waiver upon the completion of the project. From a financial standpoint- their labor was actually less than another builder I received a quote from. The materials were a little pricey, but that is based on my decision for those items and brands. Joe never pressured me into spending more than I wanted, or picking pricier items. They stayed completely within our budget as agreed upon in the contract, not one cent more. Absolutely no surprises or hidden costs at the end. Everything is on paper and signed upon. I love that Kitchen and Bath Mart is a one stop shop. That in itself is priceless. Decorating decisions, materials, the builder--- all through kitchen and bath mart with one project manager. It was so convenient and before we knew it, our beautiful bathroom was complete and ready for our Thanksgiving guests!
