Through lack of knowledge they ended up killing a 20 year old crimson maple.

"We built a retaining wall around a large maple tree and back filled with about 4" of top soil ,we advised customer of some risk to tree but the customer still wanted to build the wall , a year or to later the tree apparently died and customer filed a law suit in court ,so we compiled all contracts and hired legal counsel and went to court and won case.18 years later are company has never been sued.Our company are experts in trees and are currently growing over 10,000 in Wisconsin."

Could not have had a better experience. Kevin and his crew completely exceeded expectations. Kevin came out initially and spoke with us about what we wanted. He put together a wonderful plan incorporating the elements we wanted, and a few great ideas of his own. He was very responsive in adjusting the plan to changes we wanted, especially specific plants. When the work began, Kevin stopped by the site nearly every day, to check on the progress, and any concerns we had. The project began when they said it would, and was completed as scheduled. The crew, especially Jose, were extremely professional, always polite and considerate. They worked diligently, cleaned up every day, and responded to special requests we made of them. All in all, this is the best contractor experience I have ever had. We have recently had our roof redone, new decks built, doors installed and plumbing done. Karlstedt Landscape stands head and shoulders above the rest.
