Cutting Edge Landscaping

I strongly recommend that you do not hire Cutting Edge. They poured our concrete driveway, and 6 months later, a big portion of the top surface of the concrete started deteriorating severely. We hired a professional engineering company who specializes in concrete failures to evaluate the condition, and they concluded that the cause is the finishing or curing of the concrete, which was the responsibility of Cutting Edge. They also said that the deterioration will become worse every winter and that it is “substandard construction.” Initially, George agreed that it was unacceptable and agreed to replace fully. After 4 months of hemming and hawing and making excuse after excuse, he reneged because he said that it’s too expensive to replace and his business is not doing well. Perhaps the business would be doing better if it was a company that stood behind their service and product. Very unprofessional and I would steer very clear! A business that “can’t afford” to fix a job that turned out poorly at no fault of the client/customer is not someone you want to hire.

George, the owner, came out to do the overall planning and estimate.  He is very pleasant to work with.  The crew was professional, worked very hard and did a great job.  The look of the finished product is a great addition to our home!

It turned out great. We really liked them. They gave us the best communication wise. They gave some insight about what we can do right now with our budget. They were a little more expensive than some of the other quotes, but there service was excellent.

We have used them for years to cut the grass. Their pricing is right in line with other places because we have tested the market to see pricing for grass cutting.

We had a great experience working with George. He came out and gave us an estimate, prepared a plan for the project and helped us to design a great outdoor space.  Everything was done on time, and they did quality work.  We also added some additional lighting and landscaping and trim work and everything was done exactly as requested.  George is really responsive and the landscape designer, Ann is great to work with as well.  We would highly recommend them

The company owner, George was compliant and when the work was finished, it was beautiful. The work was completed in October, and by January hairline cracks were already beginning to form. My husband called George; no response. By March the cement area was pitted badly. My husband again contacted George; he did call back but said there was nothing to be done. Frankly my husband became ill and subsequently passed away, so I did not pursue the driveway issue. My son took over the cause. George came out to the house; he admitted that the pitting and cracking were not normal. He still refused to repour the cement. He suggested that we should contact the cement company. He was cavalier at best. I will be forced now to pay for a new driveway, as two new contractors say that a new pour is the only solution. Naturally I feel cheated. I would encourage anyone to drive by my house and take a look at my driveway before signing a contract with THE CUTTING EDGE.

Overall, the job went okay.  The job is not totally done.  They had to drive a forklift onto my lawn and the ruts are still there in the front lawn and they are supposed to come over and put some fill and resod the area.  With the weather, it hasn't yet been done.

Their price was very reasonable. They were around $1000 less than anybody else. They replaced the wood stuff. I am satisfied with their work. I liked their price, timeliness, work they did, and interaction. The whole experience was good. If I have similar work to do, I will definitely use them.

They were on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept us informed on what was going on.

The husband wife team came to our house with a proposal and estimate that exceed our expectations. The crew that worked on the hardscape were very timely and efficient. They took great care to not disturb the landscape that was not a part of the project. They did a super job and the results excellent. The landscape crew also did a great job to ensure that their piece of the project met or exceeded our expectations. We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them.

Great company! Competent, patient, great design eye, outstanding customer service, crew was hardworking, efficient, very nice, and cleaned up after the installation. I would use them again and again.

Cutting Edge Landscaping does very high quality work. They did such a good job that the lawn stayed very clean over the spring and summer. Their price is competitive at $100 per hour. They came on time and were easy to communicate with.
