This is a wonderful service. They remove everything and always check if they think the customer might want to save something. They do all the lifting and charge by truck space used. This time I needed part of another truck.

It went smoothly except for the fact that the driver did not have a credit card machine with him. So, I had to walk to the bank to get cash to pay them.

Very punctual, and called to let me know they were on the way. The 2 men were so nice and professional. I will hire again!

They arrived EARLY!! (wow, can you believe it?) and, despite the difficulty of removing a HUGE older TV, got them out and on the way in a very short time. I had been informed that the older style TVs we were getting rid of might have mercury switches and would require special handling, but there was no extra charge for this. Would absolutely recommend!

The on-line reservation process was easy, and immediately gave me a 2-hour window for the service. No waiting for a call-back needed. The crew called in advance as promised, and showed up right on time. I way under-estimated the amount of junk to be removed. They already had a partially-filled truck based on my estimate, but they did an amazing job of fitting everything in with no complaints. They explained the costs up front, got the job done quickly and carefully: they did not ding the freshly-painted walls, and were accommodating with all of the condo rules. I have already used them for a 2nd pick-up, which was done within 3 hours of scheduling it - and at a $10 discount!

Two men came with a truck and removed the items I specified. The fee is
determined by the volume of material removed.

Make sure you can keep an eye on the crew while they are working. They send 2 people, so you will want to have 2 people home to keep an eye on them in case they split up in different rooms. This is just so they dont accidently throw out something you wanted.
I would also recommend that you call Salvation Army. I had Salvation Army come the same day to take the old furniture. This is free, helps a charity, and you get a tax write off.

Everything was done in a professional manner and final cost was less than quoted estimate.

My online inquiry was answered quickly on a Monday, and we scheduled pick-up for 12:30 the next day. Since they call first and were running early, they were here and gone by 12:30! The 2 young men were great- they explained how the price would be arrived at and gave me a number. I was sure we'd fill half the truck, but they know how to fit things in in the least amount of space so even though I had added a few last minute items, I paid less than I had expected. We had a number of heavy, bulky items both upstairs and in the basement, but everything went smoothly. They were quick, quiet and careful.
It was so easy and went so well, I am already looking at what else I can get rid of. I will definitely call them again.

These guys were lifesavers. I am not sure where the three guys and two trucks it took to get everything out of our new home were dispatched from, but if they are representatives for the company, they represented this company amazing! The three guys were very fast and very efficient in loading all of the items into the truck. They were incredible non-intrusive for the amount of work that was completed and just got it done! Four hours later, the entire basement and garage were not only de-junked but swept and cleaned. They were also able to do it next day. We called at 6pm on Sunday night and scheduled them for 2pm the next day. They even called to see if they could come by earlier. Worth every penny.

Carl and Willie, the gentlemen who gave me the estimate and actually hauled away the garbage arrived right on time and were very professional and pleasant. They were good at doing their job and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company.

Able to schedule next day online and rec'd $10 off for online scheduling. Crew called an hour early to say they were in town, and would be glad to stop by earlier if I was available. Helped move items out of the way, and made sure fragile items were safe. In and out very quickly, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. Highly recommend!

They did a lovely job for a reasonable cost.

I'm remodeling my kitchen and living room and between me and some friends ripped up/out: 3 floors that were on top of each other (top was ceramic tile, under that was linoleum tile on 1/4 plywood, under that was more linoleum on 1/4" plywood), kitchen cabinets, a soffit (drywall and bracing wood), and carpet. The appliances were also unhooked. The cabinets were stacked, the ceramic tile was dumped in garbage bags, the pieces of other flooring and wood were dumped in a big pile. Went to 800-GOT-JUNK's website and booked a late afternoon appointment (at the time I booked I was tearing out the last of the flooring). Got a call within an hour from a guy at the Palatine branch who asked if it was OK to pick up earlier - told him I was still working, and he didn't pressure me. Two guys showed up almost exactly at the beginning of the time window--very polite, friendly, and clean-cut. They looked at all the stuff and gave an estimate (a range, really)--while it felt somewhat expensive, I needed the stuff gone. They started pulling debris out, and looking out at the truck it was impressive how well they were loading it - they weren't trying to fill the truck just to charge me more, they were trying to get it in as tight as possible. About halfway through they borrowed a wrecking hammer from me (I'm surprised they don't carry one), and bashed apart some of the cabinets to make things fit even tighter. After everything was loaded they swept up and ran my card. The final bill was at the low end of the range that they provided--I felt like they did what they could, given their pricing structure, to treat me as fairly as possible. I tipped them, and just as they were about to drive off caught them--until that point both they and I had forgotten that they still had my hammer. Overall, a very positive experience. Given that I live in a townhouse in a complex with limited parking I can't have a dumpster outside, so a service like this one makes big remodel jobs a ton easier. That makes the price tag liveable.

Very well. I scheduled the appointment on-line for the next day. I showed them everything that needed to be disposed. They gave me an estimate and the two men divided up the task and went to work.

I arranged for the service on the same day it was performed. The guys called ahead and arrived on time. They gave an estimate for the job and then loaded all the items. They worked quickly. They were very professional and courteous. The final bill was slightly higher than the original estimate, but it was fair.

They were very cordial, friendly, and tidy and accomplished what I wanted.

They came when expected, called 30 minutes in advance, arrived dressed in company uniforms, provided an estimate, hauled junk from various places around the house, garage and yard, then swept up where they had been. The two workers were efficient but friendly, and the price was less than expected. We would definitely call this company again!

The experience was very good. They were right on time. They called 1/2 hour before the 2 hour window they gave me, and let me know exactly what time they would be here. They got the job done very quickly, without any problems. They were very courteous. I was very pleased with them. I wish I would have had a full load, because the 1st half is more expensive than the second half. Their prices were reasonable compared to others that I checked. It took them about 40 minutes to haul everything away.
