Windo-Well Cover Co Inc

The company is an efficient family-run business and very customer oriented. I asked for bids from three companies, and Windo-Well was the lowest. They manufacture their own custom-made covers that are of very high quality (you can stand on them.) Installations are done by Dave and his son who are sticklers for precise measurements and installations. They were also very courteous and respectful. Calls to the office are immediately answered by Debbie (no answering machine), Dave's wife, who does an excellent job explaining their covers and installation. From measurements to installation took only a few days. You can't go wrong giving them your measurements over the phone for an estimate. If you like what you hear, Dave will come out to do precise measurements and leave you a written estimate. It was a pleasure dealing with this company.

We chose to have the covers screwed to the window wells instead of utilizing brackets. He vacuumed all window wells, removing years of accumulated dirt and leaves. At our request, he also took the original 5 metal grates from the tops of the window wells and disposed of them. He arched the covers so rain would not accumulate on the tops. Buying ready made covers which would not exactly fit our window wells was our alternative option. The cost for ready made and the necessity of our own labor was more expensive than custom sized and installed covers. The brochure states: Lifetime Guarantee against damage from normal use. We're very pleased and would definitely recommend this company. In fact, I asked if there were any other services they provided so we could utilize their company further.

Dave did an excellent job. He came on Tuesday to measure and provide an estimate, and came back two days later for the installation. Reasonable price. He was responsive and prompt, and the covers were professionally made and installed.

Great family owned small business!  Called on Wednesday to get a quote and covers were installed Friday!!  Donna was great on the phone, very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and provide an accurate quote.  She explained the difference between the lexan other companies use and the fiberglass that they use and why its better.  Dave came out the next day to measure each well and double check the quote.  Dave was the only one out of 4 companies I called that actually came out and measured the covers before making them!  To make sure they were right the first time! The others just gave a quote over the phone. 
Dave was back within 24hrs with the new covers made and installed them in about an hour.  He made sure they fit properly and the locks were installed correctly.  He made sure we know how to open the locks and get out quickly if needed.  They fit perfect and look great!.  Highly recommend!  Excellent workmanship and customer service!

Came out when he said he would & provided a written estimate. Also he said he could fix our screens that had been torn by the critters that had fallen into our window wells. Kept in great contact with us via messages on Angie's app. Came on time, cleaned out the window wells and installed the covers. No more critters in the wells! I can workout in the basement now!! A+

Came quickly. Very professional and polite. Explained in detail options. Worked around our schedule and our needs, but was very quick to custom manufacture two different sized window well coverings. We are quite pleased!!!!

Awesome - Gentleman was in and out in under 30 minutes.  They were very professional and showed my wife how to operate the locking mechanisms on them.

I had an excellent experience working with them.  When I called my call was answered and I was told when Dave would be out the next day to measure my window well.  He came and left a sample of the cover with a brochure and the pricing.  I called to order it and he was able to install it in a very timely manner.  I also had him repair my screen which he did and delivered it on the day he said he would.  Calling me first to make sure I would be home, and he was very willing to accommodate my schedule.  I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is in need of a window well cover. 

Very courteous and professional from the office staff to the installer. They kept their scheduled appointment for the estimate which they left at my front door.  Upon installation, they cleaned my wells, measured and cut the covers to size, and provided a follow up to secure the pins inside (optional).  The estimate was done within a couple of days and the installation maybe a week later.  The price was for the security pins which raised the price, but those are optional. Clips probably bring the price down about $30.  Compared to what some of the hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes charge for just the product alone, this was a great deal with the installation. Plus, the quality of product does not appear to be available at retail. I now have very attractive covers on the side of my house that keep the wells clean and dry and provide an added level of security to my house. This is a small family business that takes pride in their product and work!

I was tired of small critters falling into the window wells - constantly rescuing frogs, toads, baby birds and more



With the sturdy covers in place there is also more security for the home.



David stopped by for an estimate, left the brochure and then returned the following week for the install



He arrived as scheduled and advised it would take 45 minutes -  and it did.



He even cleans out the window well before installation.

Absolutely fantastic service by the Windo-Well Cover company. They were very prompt in providing us an estimate and coming out for the measurements. They also explained to us the different latch options available for additional security. When time came for installation, the installer was very friendly and really helped us out as our window wells were poorly neglected (even though we cleaned them out prior to the install, we did not catch all that our wonderful installer noticed). One year later these window well covers look great and work as advertised.

Prompt response to email. Quoted and I stalled two window well covers for us very quickly. Would recommend to all my friends. I considered them to be reasonably priced. Improves the esthetic of my home.

EXCELLENT quality and service! Called on Thursday after I noticed my 2 year old was far too curious about the grate on the window well and it made me nervous. Dave came out for an estimate on Friday and the job was done on Tuesday - and Dave did it all! His estimate was about the same but even $20 cheaper (for non lock option comparable) than other estimates, even when the other companies supposedly offered a bigger discount. And he was the only one who offered a locking mechanism, which is great for keeping intruders out and 2 year old safe (price with locks was more, but worth it!!). Dave custom cut and fit and they look awesome. Debbie the office manager was also so kind and helpful - this whole company is top notch. I already recommended them and they are doing an install for my inlaws later in the week. Highly recommend!

They came out the same day they called back, measured and left a quote for the price - I didn't even have to be home.  When I called and said yes to the estimate they said they'd be out the next day to complete the service - again, I didn't even need to be home.  They completed the work while I was out and left the extra pieces (to lock the cover) and instructions - which were very easy to follow.  I feel much more secure knowing that window is now locked and they even factored in an Angie's list coupon (which I forgot to mention on the phone but had taped to the front door) when they left the final invoice in a bag on the door handle.  A wonderful service and very prompt and professional.

Carlos & Oscar arrived at my home in the time frame I was told. They removed my old covers, cleaned the well area and custom made the new well covers for me. I am very happy with everything about this company. Thanks guys!

Went very well.







Cut to size, arrived on time, completed work in a timely manner, cleaner all debris from well area and then installed cover with clips over the egress.  Hold my weight easily.







You can't but this at Home Depot for less and it's not custom sized there either.







Certainly recommend their work, their cost and their process.
