I heard a grinding noise when I tried to open the garage door. I guessed it was the opener. I checked Angie's List and found this company. I phoned and was fortunate enough to them come out within a few hours to replace the unit. The old one was 20 years old and I opted to have a new one installed rather than try to repair the old one.
The installer did a great job installing the unit and it took approximately about an hour. He was extremely courteous and friendly. He also did a good job cleaning up and took the broken opener with him.
If I have any other issues down the road with the garage doors I will certainly called this company and definitely recommend anyone to contact them for service.

Years ago the spring broke on our old garage door. My husband went to the phone book and called Professional Garage door, in Oswego, Illinois and was surprised when Justin said he would be out to fix it right away on a Saturday. Needless to say when it came time for 2 new garage doors we called them again. We chose to go with a better quality door with a walnut grain finish that has insulation between 2 layers of steel. Since we are getting older we also chose to get garage door openers that we didn't have in the past. We were very pleased with the whole process and was very impressed with the work that Justin did. He removed the old very heavy wood doors from the 1970's by himself and did the whole installation by himself. He disposed of the old doors and did a very good job of cleaning up. He was very professional and definitely lived up to their name of Professional Garage Door, Inc. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new garage door.
