I found Premier Electrical services on the Internet. Read the company's customer testimonies and thought I'd give them a try. I should have just given a $100 away! I would have gotten more out of it. When I called them I asked for someone that was knowledgeable in dealing with older houses as mine was built in 1873. They sent me two young, brand new men in their twenties, who showed up over half an hour late with no call or apology. I showed them the electrical timer box that I wanted replaced. They charged me $97.50 to take the part. They did NO work, just took the part. I wrote them a check and they said they'd give me a call in a few days. I received a "Thank You for your service card" in the mail, but they had not returned with the part or done any work and I never received that call they told me to wait for. I called the general manager Phil Solecki after two months. Phil had no idea about my case and said he would get back to me. Later, after I called him again because he does not get back to me, he claims he's still looking into it. Weeks change into months. Five months later, I make contact with him again and request both my part and my $97.50 back as no work had been completed. He claims they are working on getting the part. Then he changes his story to the part is too outdated (I bought my house from an electrician who put the part in under 7 years ago). I ask him why he didn't communicate to me prior than 5 months, that he just couldn't locate the part. I could have gone with someone else. He has no answer. I ask him to refund my money again. He says no and that I was aware of the terms of agreement. Then he decides not to return my calls or emails. My father makes contact with him in an attempt to resolve the situation. He asks him to help come up with a resolution. He lies and tells my father that he has been in communications with me since the beginning and that at no point had he "disappeared." My father asks him at the very least to ship us back the part as we do not live close to Oswego. He said he would. Then when I talk to him he changes his story again and says he won't and that it's not cost effective for him to ship the part to me and that if I want it I have to drive to Oswego to pick it up myself!!! Doesn't even offer to have one of his men drop it off when they are in the general area. Five months after the fact, I still don't have the problem fixed and I'm out close to a $100. As a women, I felt he scammed me out of money, knowing I was an easy target without the backup of a husband. I felt like I was given low priority and that my case was unimportant. In my communications toward the end, he refused to admit fault and continuously told me I was "confused" and that he was sorry "that I was still confused." Since absolutely no work was done, he felt that "trying to locate" the part was worth $100 and refused to return my money. I asked to schedule a meeting with him to talk to him in person, he refused. Overall, I would not even send my worst enemy to Premier Electric!!! I am a teacher. I can calmly explain things and resolve a conflict with even the most difficult of personalities or behavior disorders. I am calm and resourceful. I also work two other jobs to support myself. Money does not come easy. I explained all this to him. $100 was more important to him than resolving a conflict. It doesn't surprise me that it says "This provider broke its contractual obligation to Angie's List. Until those obligations are met, the provider will be withheld from Category and Keyword searches." on Angie's List website. They have a pattern of going back on their word and not following through.
