Was a bit pricy but did great work. Was very honest and transparent. I trust his work and would look for him for future projects.

Jim did a beautiful job on my master bathroom. My bathroom was old and outdated. He removed bathtub and added a large shower with a low threshold and glass doors. He also added his and hers open shelving on either side of the shower. I picked a high end tile and his craftsmanship elevated the tile even more. He took care of the electric and plumbing too. He went above my expectations. Jim is personable and professional. I will have him back to paint inside of home and hang storm doors this summer.

If you are in need of a handyman look no further than Jim Leonard! My husband and I hired him to help us with our new (old) home that was in need of serious repair and he has been absolutely incredible! He knows how to do everything and he does it the right way! Mold remediation, expert painting, tricky electrical installation, extensive drywall repair, artistically applied wood baseboard trim, you name it he does it! He is professional, polite and a pleasure to work with. He treats your home as if it were his own. He meticulously cleans up after a job, he works fast but is conscientious about each project so things are well thought out and done well. He even gives great advice if youâ re attempting to tackle a job on your own. He notices and sensitively points out things that arenâ t right. IE: when we first bought our home while here doing unrelated work, Jim noticed the garage ceiling drywall was in danger of falling. He immediately brought it to our attention and promptly fixed it saving us from certain disaster. This is the kind of person he is, he genuinely cares about his clients and he goes above and beyond what is expected. Hire Jim Leonard, you will be so so glad you did!

Drywall Repair and Framing a Wall: We hired Jim to fix a hole in our ceiling which was caused by a water leak and to rework a closet in one of our bedrooms. He gave us an estimate on a Monday, completed the work on Tuesday and Wednesday. His work was impeccable. You cannot tell where our ceiling was repaired. The closet work was exceptional with great care to ensure it matched existing. He was very, very clean and his attention to detail was second to none. Would hire him again without hesitation.

Wow! Beautiful and detailed workmanship. I splurged on a Marble bathroom remodel and I wanted it done right. Jim exceeded my expectations in every way. He thought of details that hadn t crossed my mind. I am so happy with the job and will continue to hire Leonards for my home remodeling projects. Hired Jim to do a repair of a rotted garage header. He was great to work with. I wasn't on site while he was doing the repair, but he was very good about communicating status updates and responding to my questions promptly, even on weekends and in the evenings. He went out of his way to fit us in his schedule quickly and was very flexible to ensure that his work led to minimum disruptions (including securing our garage every night unlike other contractor proposals). The final product was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Jim installed acoustic ceiling tiles in a 11' x 11.5' room that myself & my friends had worked on for my Daughter - Very high quality parts & work! I fix a lot around the house - If I can say that this guy does better work than i would have done That is saying something. No Complaints from my Wife - who is kind of picky... A+ for this Guy.. this Business.

Jim is such a professional and really knows his stuff. He repaired and replaced exterior trim and then painted all exterior trim did 2 coats, even touched up our house numbers for no charge. He just know what to do, does the right thing to make it look great like it was his own house. Looked so good when it was done our neighbors hired him to do the same exact thing.

Jim is an outstanding carpenter with attention to detail! He is punctual, friendly, and believes in doing a quality job. He took a 37 year old kitchen and made the cabinets and drawers work like new while saving us money. He installed our farmhouse sink and prepared the area for the new granite installation. We will definitely be hiring him for our next project!

Mr. Leonard replaced bathroom flooring and the toilet for my parents in Boulder Hill. He went the extra mile to accommodate my mother who needed to access the bathroom during the renovations. He made excellent suggestions and answered all of our questions. He is very easy to work with and very detailed in his work. He was prompt, reliable and I highly recommend this company for any home repairs.

Jim did a complete renovation of the home I was selling. He gave it the white glove treatment. All baseboard and doors where painted with top quality paint. He helped me choose a neutral palette that showed very well. He suggested we remove all gold light fixtures and door handles and hinges. He then installed more modern satin nickel finishes through out. He even painted basement stairs and garage. His expertise helped me renovate my home quickly professionally and with style. I sold my home in less then 3 weeks at a fair price. All credit due to Jim and Leonard's construction.

I picked Leonard's because of reviews on home advisor. He called me back that same day and I explained the siding problem by that afternoon he had been to the house and looked at the house. This was not my primary home. The same day he called me back to explain the damage and give me a quote I was amazed not only with his prompt service for for the repair but for the amount that he gave me. He managed to get the work done before the time he gave me before he could start. Needless to say I was impressed to say the least. The finished job was excellent you could not even tell where the damage had been. I would recommend him for anyone looking for small repair or even larger that do not know where to turn to look for help. I plan to use him for future projects and suggest that anyone with a problem call him first. Jim is a true pro that listens to what you want and is a person with very reasonable rates.He is one of the people I would use for a very long time.

Jim Leonard is a real pro that pays attention to detail. Thy front door threshold on my 80-year+ old brick Georgian was rotting out and would be a major expense if the whole thing needed to be ripped-out and replaced. Jim sized-up what was need and cut a cedar patch that with filler and anchoring nails that once painted it looks brand new! The way Jim did the job it will last many, many years. I will call Jim the next time I have a repair or project.

Jim covered two porch posts to give the house an up dated look. The work done was of the highest quality. He was finished in two days, including painting.I highly recommend Jim for any type of service he is willing to take on.

Jim handled very complex basement layout and managed to optimize the installation of the drop ceiling tiles to perfection. Work performed cleanly, with little waste and in expedient manner.

Jim arrived on time and even worked with my realtor to arrange an time to enter the property as I was working. He even offered to wait on NiCor to arrive so I would not have to leave my work. He fixed a gasket on my water heater, replaced a hot water valve, put up a new light in the basement, and made sure my garbage disposal was in good working order. He was also there to supervise an air pressure test on my plumbing as the house was unoccupied for some time. All turned out well and I will definetely be hiring Jim again for future work. Very professional and trustworthy.

Jim was professional from start to finish. He tried to schedule the work right away and called to explain what the problem was when he was there. This is a rental so only my tenant was at the property at the time. Jim tried to help resolve issued pertaining to the nature of each problem in order to help us understand who would be responsible for which repair. The only thing is my tenant said it only took him 5 minutes to clear the sink that was starting to get clogged and he charged $150 for it, and my tenant said "wow"! I had no idea how long the repair took but that to me also seems a bit outrageous.
