• Our home was for sale from November 2014 to April 2015. We bought in 2008 and the value of our home decreased over 23% which was very disappointing, but not a refection of her continued support and education.

Able to sell our home out of season and during a time when no others were selling in our area. 
The first offer was very disappointing, but we accepted an offer 5 months later that ended up to be the same amount.  She supported us throughout the process. 
I recommend her highly as an intelligent, caring agent who is always professional and available. 

We are still in the process of selling our house but she was very helpful and took the time to walk through the house and told me what to leave and what to take out to look best for the people looking at the house. She was also helpful with staging. She is very professional and was proud of her sales and that number of sales took her less than a week. She shared that information with us without us asking. She is also very personable and seems to be very honest with her dealings with us which I like. She is very responsive. Her dad has been in the hospital and she still responds with texts or calls and I have been surprised on how responsive she is. We have actually no difficulties so far.

My husband and I were quite dissatisfied with our dealings with realtors in the past, and our most recent disappointment was this past fall of 2013. We were so dissatisfied that we actually took our home off the market.

Four months later we decided to begin the process again of selling our home. This time we decided to use the old adage, interview three (realtors).

Being, we are firm members of Angie’s List, we decided this time we would select three realtors from Angie’s List. We were pleased with two of the realtors.

We interviewed each realtor in our home, and then made the decision that we would like Melissa Simonek to come back to discuss our working arrangement, of selling our home, in more detail.

Melissa Simonek with Century 21 turned out to be our selection and with great satisfaction. From the moment we met her we felt her honesty, sincerity, and dedication to her job. It is apparent that she holds all these qualities in high esteem.

Although, we are at the beginning of our working relationship with Melissa Simonek, we have received excellent service, follow up calls, and feedback from our showings. She has literally gone out of her way to provide us with the best service we have ever received in the real-estate business.

When I needed help selling my home, Melissa was an absolute godsend!

I had owned my home for over a decade and put much time, effort, and money renovating it. Whether I was going to stay or sell, I wanted the house to be special. My decision to relocate came after the home values had plummeted, so even more so than usual, I needed guidance and help.

I'd interviewed several agents, but I wasn't especially thrilled with what I kept hearing, and I was certainly feeling far from optimistic. All agreed the home was beautiful and would sell well, but none seemed to realize the potential. Their recommendations seemed based on what a computer model spat out rather than what the market potential actually would be.

After speaking with Melissa, however, I finally started feeling hopeful. It certainly wasn't her just telling me what I'd been hoping to hear. It was that she had the wisdom and experience to see the potential the home had, and the willingness to take time and go after what we felt the home was worth.

The price she recommended was where I ended up listing. (All of the other agents had recommended a price about 20% lower.) The listing went up on a Thursday evening, the first showing was Saturday, and I accepted an offer at 95% of the selling price on Wednesday! The house clearly had quite a bit more potential than the other agents had thought. If it hadn't been for Melissa's recommendations and her willingness to try going after the market value we both felt was there, I could have lost tens of thousands of dollars! After accepting the offer, she also walked me through every step and made the entire process absolutely painless. From start to finish, she was always very kind, easy to work with, and exceptionally helpful.

With the housing market struggling, I was also considering selling the house on my own. After having gone through the entire experience, I honestly could not be happier that I decided to list with Melissa instead! It was the best decision I could have ever made!

Melissa has been a joy to work with. I had to go through 2 terrible agents till I met Melissa. She has been super supportive and responsive to everything. In addition, everyone I have to work with (Lawyer, Sellers Agent, etc) have had nothing but very positive feedback about her. Buying a home is stressful enough, you want someone like Melissa to work with to help make it a less stressful and guide you through the purchasing process. Melissa really loves what she does and takes great pride in her work.
