 + -1 moreIn the beginning, it was great! The owner would show up with his team member and introduce me, then start the work. The next day, he brought another team member over to faux paint. When I voiced concerns about the sloppiness of the trim work and that the ceiling did not match the faux on the walls he said "no problem, we will fix it". I have called him everyday for several weeks (work number and cell number) with only one response. He stopped by and gave me a new sample board. I called him 2 days later and left a voice mail message that the new board was great and to move forward. I have not heard from him since and I have tried all numbers I have for him, several times for over 2 weeks. I now have to hire someone else to come in and fix/re-do his work. The faux painting does look nice, I just wish he would touch up the trim work and re-do the paint colors as we had talked about! I just wish he would communicate with us and tell us when he is coming back or if he is?!
Description of Work: Painted bathroom including ceiling, walls and all trim. Faux painted the walls.

 + -1 moreAlthough they said they would arrive at 8 a.m., they called immediately after that to tell me they would not make it until about nine and they were then very prompt. They set up the machine on the patio to be most out of the way. Both Brian and his colleague were very pleasant and personable. They worked together very well, as if they have been working for years, which they probably have. They worked quickly and efficiently and made sure they didn't disturb us more than absolutely necessary. The house is much quieter and much warmer, with the furnace cycling less frequently. We had to leave before they were finished, but they returned to make sure we were satisfied. We have contracted with them to insulate the ceiling in the garage. We are very pleased, and got a federal tax credit for all energy work completed between Jan 1, 2006 and Dec. 31, 2007.
Description of Work: Extra Insulation came out and gave us an estimate for insulating our split level house with two attics. We let them know we accepted their bid and they set up a date. An earlier date came up for them and they came about three days early. They arrived about nine and set up the cellulose insulation machine on the patio and threaded flexible plastic pipes through a window in a bedroom to get to the attic opening in the upstairs hall. When they were finished with that, they swept up and put the pipe through the kitchen window to access the very tiny opening in the very tiny pantry closet, which we had emptied earlier. They insulated the lower attic, cleaned up and left. Brian made it a point to have me climb the ladder and poke my head through the attic opening upstairs so he could show me what he was doing. They made sure that the eaves' vent space remained clear and blew in about ten to twelve inches of new insulation.

 + -1 moreBRIAN CALLED BACK WITHIN A DAY AND SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO US BY THE END OF THE WEEK. THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO, AND WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE.
