Very polite and professional. Online scheduling was easy and they called ahead twice to let us know when they would arrive. They arrived with one truck (2 people) then called for a second truck. They had to get quite a few items from the basement. When they were done they swept up the floors.

They called 30 minutes before arriving. Two men that were very courteous & professional. They had the stuff out of my house & in the truck in 10 minutes. I was charged the minimum $120 fee. The fee is based on volume, my load was relatively small. I would use them again.

From first contact to the very welcome discount coupon for future visits (and there will be future visits) Got Junk was flawless! Scheduling was easy, the time window very reasonable, and the driver called en route exactly at the time planned. The truck arrived just as scheduled. Matt and Q, the GJ crew, could not have been more professional or polite. They were unbelievable good-natured about the what my husband and I considered an extremely "horrible" job of carrying and shoveling 15 years of junk and debris out of our very dirty, messy garage. They even assured me that ours was not the worst task of the day (although it's hard to believe!) Not only did they get all the stuff out, they scraped and swept the floor, leaving the garage cleaner than it's been in 29 years. The cost was appropriate for the amount of work these guys performed. They charge based on the amount of space you fill up in the truck (not the time it takes to do it), and they did a great job of sorting and positioning the stuff to fit quite compactly! This was our second encounter with GJ, the first being a few years ago for hauling some very large and heavy old furniture out of our daughter's apartment. For both visits, we were impressed by the crew and the service. My husband and I are already preparing to clean out the basement...

This company is great! I called first thing in the morning, was treated very well by the lady on the phone and within hours the item I needed hauled away was gone! It was easy and the crew was prompt and professional. Top notch service.

The online booking tool is easy to use and understand. They called on the morning I requested and gave a window for their arrival. They arrived at the time indicated, and quickly evaluated the volume of the material to be removed. They base their fee on how much space the stuff takes up in the truck in 1/8 truck increments. They estimated my debris would take up 5/8 of their truck, and quoted the price. I approved the quote, and they began work immediately. I had two large piles of scrap wood with a lot of exposed nails, old carpet, and old paneling. One pile was in the basement, and they began there. They carefully removed everything from the basement, and then the garage. They placed small items in garbage bags. They took great care to pack items in the truck such that there was very little "empty space."
When they were done, they swept up the area in both basement and garage. While the cost for this service is more than renting a dumpster, it was truly worth it, since I didn't have to haul this junk from the basement or garage into the dumpster. The guys were very professional, and quick too - this little project only took them 45 minutes to complete, and I was able to get back to my day.

I called to get information and set up an appointment for hauling out old furniture. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and able to get me scheduled quickly. On the appointment day, I received a call from the movers giving me a time frame when they would be arriving. They called back again later and asked if it was okay if they came a little earlier. It worked out well for me.

When they arrived, they introduced themselves, took a quick look at what was to be removed, gave me a price, and got to work. They got all the furniture out of the house in no time! They were very friendly and professional (the only reason I gave them a B for professionalism is that one of the men had mud on his shoes and got my carpeting dirty; as soon as his partner noticed it, he told him to put "booties" on over his shoes).

I would hire this company again to help with a cleanout or move out. So far this has been the easiest part of a renovation!

Booking was easy. Service was performed the following day. I was notified 30 minutes before arrival which was within the time frame chosen when booking. The men were pleasant, professional and explained the process and the charges and went straight to work. The charge was less than I had expected, truly well worth the cost. I would use this service again and would recommend it highly based on my experience.

Two gentlemen came on time. I had all my junk in a pile in my garage so removal was quick and easy. The two men were very helpful and professional. Since everything was piled in one location by us the prices was a little high for the removal only. But I do need to say this is the second time I have used them. The last time I had stuff in the basement and the upstairs. They walked up and down the stairs numerous times. Also, they removed a very heavy entertainment center. The price then was $350 and worth every penny. So I'd say there is no advantage to gathering the stuff yourself. P.S. I'm posting this on the Orland Park location but really I just called the 800 #. So I do not know what office that would tie to.

The guys were great! Very professional. Some of my stuff was very heavy, but they handled it with no problem. I plan to use them again when I clean out a storage unit.
