prompt service. fixed not only the defective hot water line to the sink, but replaced the cold water line too since it was just as old as the line that failed, and also replaced the sprayer (the line to it, and the sprayer head itself) because it was also in bad shape.

Visteen Plumbing answered my service call quickly, scheduled my work for service soon, showed up on time, and fixed the problem well. I have had no problems with their repair.

Scheduling took a bit longer than I expected. The servicing technician was fantastic, punctual, and professional. The work product is fantastic, I trust the provider company, and I would hire again. After multiple follow ups, I have yet to be billed .

The owner is Matt Visteen and he formerly was an apprentice with another good plumbing provider in the area and has now gone out on his own. I have used him for many years and he does fantastic work.

We had a great experience with Visteen Plumbing in figuring out the problems with the water pressure in our newly purchased home. Matt and his crew figured out the problem, which turned out to be pretty rare in Oak Park. And they were able to fix it without cutting into a wall, which had been our fear. He could've easily gone that route but was very straight with us. We will definitely use him again for any future plumbing needs.

We had Matt replace our 20-something year old water heater before it became a real issue - As our existing water heater wasn't leaking, just not working as efficiently as it should (and making some frightening noises) Matt provided no pressured sales pitch when we asked about it, just suggested a make / model he's had success with and offered a flat rate for the install. Chris did the actual install and was clean, courteous, and quick and thorough with the work. We've also used Matt for several other small plumbing repairs throughout the house in the past, and he's always been prompt and gotten the work done quickly and affordably. He was originally recommended to us by a local electrician when the electrician found a still-active gas line run into one of our electrical boxes (must have had gas lights in our 90 year old house at one point). This only delayed our electrical work by an afternoon, as Matt was called and was able to come by first thing the next morning to take care of the issue. We've since recommended him to friends who have needed plumbing work and they've all been happy with their results as well.

Owner and his employees were professional and even helped us out when the guys demo'ing our bathroom broke a pipe while they were working on our kitchen piping upgrade. Priced competitive.

I called Matt, explained what I needed done. Matt came to the appointment ready to work.  He had all the tools and materials necessary for the job. He clearly explained the alternatives and what he proposed to do. The work was done in 2 hours.
We live in a 106 year old house and the much of the piping is probably 60 to 80 years old. I will certainly give Matt first crack at any future plumbing work.

Matt Visteen is good at scheduling to work with my schedule.  Chris did the repair and it went well.  Arrived as specified, repaired the problem.

The shower arm was loose so needed to be secured inside the wall.  Cut a hole in the wall around the shower arm, secured the shower arm to a 2x4, covered the hole in the wall with plastic until I get the painter/repair company to fix it.  Also replaced a leaking shower head.  Came on time, worked efficiently, shower works much better.

At a time when finding trustworthy help is difficult, I am so glad to have Visteen Plumbing to turn to as they have always been courteous, prompt and reliable. Mat and his new associate, Chris, have been wonderful to work with.  They answered questions and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.  Price was reasonable, too!

Visteen plumbing came out the same day and gave us a very reasonable quote that included a lot of great information about our house and showcased their superior knowledge of plumbing and remodeling. Sadly they did not work within our timeline or else we would have gladly used them.

The service call went very smoothly.  Matt had been recommended to me by a local handyman, and when I called Matt with my problem (2 broken toilets), he was able to squeeze us into his schedule.  He addressed those issues and that of a clogged shower drain.  I felt that the cost was very reasonable, and I found Matt to be very knowledgeable.  Highly recommended!
