Roz and Tom are fantastic. We were first time home buyers, and Tom was our agent. We were absolutely clueless, and Tom was always there to guide us along the way. We almost made some bad decisions, and thanks to Tom, we didn't make those decisions. We are super happy with our new home in Oak Park! Tom is not pushy; he is honest though, and he will tell you exactly what is right and wrong about the home, for you to take it or leave it. But trust us... TAKE HIS ADVICE! We are glad we did. Tom is also very responsive, thoughtful, and genuine. He worked at all hours of the day for us. He is truly an advocate in the truest sense of the word. We know for sure that we will be using Roz/Tom team if and when we are ready to sell our new home down the line.

Roz and team are consummate professionals, very knowledgable and friendly, flexible, and were willing to go the extra mile for us. That aspect is what makes all the difference. Many people do their job, only few go above and beyond. Rox does.
From the beginning of the process- viewing homes,  responsiveness,  making superb referrals of attorney and lender, and communication throughout was perfect. Her assistant Morgan is also great. Roz Byrne and her team used multiple channels to reach out to buyers with attractive and professional materials that showed my home to the best advantage.  Because my house was the largest in the neighborhood, there were additional challenges to attract a buyer looking for such a home, and she was encouraging that the right buyer would come along.  Later in the season, I
suddenly got multiple showings and three offers, one of whom now owns my former home.

My father's condo had been on the market for a year.  We decided to change realtors and went with Roz.  Within
10 days we had an offer.   The reason for the quick action is that Roz was realistic, organized and did a good job of
presenting the condo.  Our former realtors had it very overpriced.  Roz showed us what similar condos were going for
in our area.  With that realistic price it was sold quickly.

Roz did wonders again! After she helped to sell my town-home in a difficult market in 2013, my sister and I partnered with her again to sell our family home in 2014. Roz and her team (Morgan and Tom) expertly presented our unconventional home to find the right buyer. Roz is wonderful. We purchased a house in Oak Park while we were living in another state, and Roz provided excellent full-service real estate services to us. Roz made the process as easy and smooth as it possibly could have been. She is knowledgable about real estate and the local market and she is good at understanding her clients and matching them with the right properties. She is also kind and funny, two characteristics we truly value. We would definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone interested in purchasing a home in the area.

Most of my friends described purchasing a house as the most stressful experience they had ever had...not so with Roz! Her calm demeanor and constant communication kept our anxiety low. She called me for updates before I could call her and she was always incredibly friendly and at ease, even when she was calling late at night, on weekends, etc. She also has great working relationships with other agents, lenders, attorneys and contractors in the area which means things moved smoothly on her end and she was able to refer us to quality providers with reasonable rates. Roz continues to stay in touch with her clients, even after the closing. We closed 4 months ago and she just tracked down some relevant information re: the house for me. I highly recommend Roz.

Roz provided full service - fuller than most full service I can think of, including what I assume are routine real estate agent stuff like connecting us with all the other service providers we needed - mortgage broker, lawyer, and multiple home inspectors - as well as above and beyond stuff like taking us out to dinner, donating to a charity on our behalf, and throwing a roller skating party for all her clients. Other things she did included signing us up for daily email updates on homes that met our criteria, and doing all the logistics to make sure we got all the info we needed without having to figure a bunch of stuff out. And of course, the meat and potatoes work of doing the negotiating - she was aggressive in getting us the best price possible but always listened to our concerns.

The best part for us was the friendliness and rapport she maintained throughout - we trusted her implicitly from our first meeting and she never let us down. We're not planning to sell anytime soon so hopefully we won't use her agent services in the near future, but we're excited to hook up any of our friends that are considering moving to the area, and also excited to have her around as a friend and a resource in town.

I can not say anything negative about Roz's job performance. She was professional, stayed on top of things, and kept me informed. I would hire her again to work for me.

We had an attractive house but it needed to be priced right, and Roz made sure we were reasonable in our expectations. We had an offer very quickly at 90% of list, and we got closer to our asking price but that offer fell through as the buyer changed their mind. Not much later we had a stronger offer and eventually settled at 98% of list, and closed quickly and easily, the whole process was roughly 2 months start to finish, unusual for that market. Roz worked hard and had great supporting resources, the web site, virtual tour, brokers tour, showing notification system (we got a call an email for each showing so made that very easy for us to accommodate showings) Overall Roz is highly recommended as a realtor for Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park and so forth.

She was pleasant to work with, did a good job of marketing the home. After the sale she took my husband and myself out for dinner and made a charitable donation to the charity of our choice.

I have little experience with home buying so my questions were many! We called other agents and when we mentioned our budget and the area we were looking in, they were not interested in going any further! Not Roz, she never tried to steer us elsewhere, show us something that was not in the financial plan or otherwise influence us for her benefit. When she saw a home that she thought we might have interest in, she called me instead of waiting to see if I picked it out from the daily e-mail update so I could act quickly. I was really impressed when I learned that she specializes in helping elderly homeowners who are making changes, it gave us an insight into the caring attitude that Roz has, looking at her clients in a long-term relation not a quick sell and move on way. Finally, Roz donates a portion of her commission to the charity of her client's choice. Roz Byrne is so much more than a great real estate agent, she is a valuable friend to her clients and the community.

Roz Byrne is an excellent Realtor, she asked excellent questions up-front, she has excellent instincts, and priced and marketed the house to sell quickly, and she is a straight-shooter and kept me thoroughly informed throughout the sale process. She guided me throughout the process in preparing the house for sale and going through the sale process, she is trustworthy and follows through, she has extensive contacts throughout the community, and provided a booklet of contractors and trades people with whom she has worked with good results. She goes the extra mile by thanking those that refer clients to her, celebrating with her clients who have closed a sale with a lunch or dinner, and donating $100 of her proceeds to the charity of her client s choice.
