Rich was able to diagnose the problem quickly and the repair was promptly completed. I was impressed with Rich's knowledge of my pinball machine (he noticed which components had been added on after it left the factor).

Rich was able bring the machine back to life. He was also able to fix many issues that I had when since it was first purchased use 30 years ago. The price I paid was very fair since it included a 45 min travel time and he worked on the machine for almost 2 hours and he replaced a defective part. I learned a lot from Rich about my Pinball game. He really knew his trade in the repair of these classic games. I would definitely use him a gain and would highly recommend him to others. My grandkids will be thrilled to find out their favorite game is now working again!!!!

Description of Work: Pinball machine was not functioning properly. He detected the issue(s) and made the repair. After years of non-use, a couple components needed to be cleaned and oiled. Also, replaced all rubber bumpers.

I've had a few others fix my classic pinball machine over the years. It always seemed to end up part way fixed. Bill was great. Took his time. Made sure everything worked. Fixed up a few things that I didn't even mention to him for free. Seemed the most knowledgeable of the group that have come through the home. I will always go back to him

The gentleman was very nice to work with. He knew we wanted the pinball machine ready and delivered in time for a birthday party and he made that happen. The machine looks and runs great. As for pricing, I did not check any other service provider.

Rich, the owner, came out to replace all the burnt out lights on my 1993 Indiana Jones pinball machine. Rich really knows his stuff - he's an expert in his field and an all around nice guy. He replaced the lights and then as a courtesy, checked the batteries as well. He found that one of the batteries had begun to corrode and was leaking acid. Luckily, it hadn't leaked onto the CPU board, which would have been a more expensive repair. Rich replaced the battery pack for me, as it had battery acid that had leaked on it, and put in new batteries. I was very pleased w/ his service, his knowledge, and his attitude. He's a nice guy and does great work!

I am so glad that I found this company. He really knows pinball machines, their workings, history, value, etc. He was able to fix my 1980's machine easily and provided me with some options for future maintenance. He even gave me the value of the machine should I decide to sell it.

We have a pinball machine from the early 80's that hasn't worked in years. Richard was so easy to talk to on the phone, and showed up the next day. Within an hour, the machine was fixed and ready to play :)

Purchased a and quot;Space Shuttleand quot; pinball game for $100.00 in 1994. It has been moved to 4 homes and since finding Midwest Pinball Restoration, Rich Huff is the only person I would ever have service my pinball machine. Rich comes to my home for annual maintenance and has quickly diagnosed and fixed whatever and quot;hiccupand quot; is present at the time. He's extremely knowledgeable, professional, service-oriented and has given me great tips over the years. The above describes the services performed. He was a little slow in response time when I called a couple of times during the process, but made up for it in the ultimate performance of the service (the sale of my pinball machine).
Description of Work: Rich Huff did some service on my Pinball Machine. At the time he was here, I decided to sell the machine. Rich took it on consignment in May, 2012. He said that sales are generally not very good in the summer and fall, but pick up considerably before Christmas. He sold the machine in mid-December and I received what we had agreed to although I cut my amount by $200.00 as he did not receive what he had hoped for on the sale. He was more than willing to pay me the $3,000 we agreed upon but I thought it was fair to discount it based on the preparation and advertising he did to accomplish the sale. I was very pleased with the results and would be happy to do business with MW Pinball again in the future.

I e-mailed Rich with the problem we were having with the table, and he estimated 2-3 hours to repair and gave some options for times to come and look at the machine. He arrived and was able to fix everything in 1 hour, which was great. He also gave us some tips on keeping the table clean- what to use/what not to use, and left a partial bottle of cleaning solution. Table works great now, problem is fixed, kids are happy!

Description of Work: I was calling around to find a place to purchase my friends pinball machines. The gentleman who answered the phone was very kind, regardless that he could not help me. He took the time to give me a list of locations that might purchase these machines. He also took the time to give me estimates of the machine values, regardless that he was not purchasing them. He truly had nothing to gain from giving me this information. He simply did it out of kindness. I must say it left an impression and I will call him when my pinball machines need repair. Very nice and honest people.

Rich arrived on time and was very professional. He performed the needed repairs in a clean manner. It took around two and a half hours. I would use him again.
Description of Work: He replaced the "mother board", glass, bulbs, rubber bands, digital display, fuses and performed other general services on the machine. All that wasn't working before, now performs perfectly.
