MARY'S CLEANING SERVICE

They are outstanding. They are excellent.

Bathroom floor still looked dirty, shelves in kitchen weren't dusted, kitchen floor was not clean, etc. Not worth the money I paid them. Will not be hiring them again.

They could notice where the dirt is more. They could be a little bit more thorough in checking for dust.

Mary's has been coming to my house approximately once a month for about a year now. They always show up early and are done on the scheduled time. This means we often get a quarter hour of free work from them and can easily fit them into our incredibly busy schedule. The fact that they don't speak much English can sometimes be a barrier, especially since they don't clean the entire house for us. The quality of the work is average in my personal experience, though inconsistent. Some sessions, everything is sparkling clean when they leave. Other times, they miss stuff. As with other services, it is very important that all clutter be stowed away before they arrive for optimal results.

The person who answered the phone was polite and was able to schedule my cleaning for the same week. The crew came 15 minutes early, which I don't prefer but most people would. The crew supervisor, in charge of dusting upstairs, was friendly and conscientious, but the other workers didn't do a very thorough job at all. The downstairs bathroom still has construction debris on one of the shelves and the tops of the shower stall walls, the walls in that bathroom weren't washed, the toilet wasn't cleaned (needed to be cleaned the next day), and the shower stall still had soap residue. In the upstairs bathroom, the (glass) doors and tops of the cabinets weren't cleaned (still had construction dust). In the downstairs, the floors under some of the furniture weren't cleaned (still have dust), items on surfaces weren't moved to dust under (dust rings present), and the kitchen counters had residue. The crew also left 5 min. early.

While the cleaning is not always perfect, they are good, quick, and reliable. They show up on time (or call if they are running late). We always have the same crew. And they have always been able to accommodate us; sometimes on short notice when we've needed to re-schedule or schedule an extra cleaning. The crew is also great with our dog. I think they look forward to his greeting.

THEY WERE OKAY, BUT NOT WORTH THE PREMIUM PRICE. THEY DID AN ADEQUATE, NOT GREAT, JOB, BUT WERE REALLY SLOPPY ABOUT PUTTING THINGS BACK (FURNITURE, CHILDPROOF ELECTRICAL PLUGS, THROW RUGS, ETC.) WHEN I GOT HOME, I'D FIND A CLEAN HOUSE THAT LOOKED LIKE A CYCLONE HAD BEEN THROUGH I--THE WHOLE PLACE WAS IN DISARRAY BECAUSE EVERYTHING HAD BEEN MOVED WHEN THEY VACUUMED AND DUSTED, BUT NOTHING HAD BEEN REPLACED. ONE WEEK I FOUND A LARGE OTTOMAN SITTING ON TOP OF A COFFEE TABLE! THEY ALSO WEREN'T GREAT ABOUT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS, BUT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A LANGUAGE ISSUE.

A CREW OF FOUR CAME AND CLEANED MY HOUSE. THEY DID A NICE JOB. OF THE FOUR THAT CLEANED THE HOUSE, ONLY ONE COULD SPEAK ENGLISH. DESPITE THE LANGUAGE BARRIER, THEY REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

I WAS PLEASED THAT THEY FOUND A TIME TO QUICKLY SQUEEZE US IN SINCE WE WERE HAVING A PARTY 4 DAYS AFTER I CALLED. THEY DID SOLID WORK VERY QUICKLY AND WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB.

THEY WERE ON TIME. ONLY ONE OF THE 4 THAT CAME SPOKE ENGLISH, BUT IT DID NOT POSE ANY PROBLEMS. THEY WORKED VERY HARD, QUICKLY, AND DID A GOOD JOB. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING SPECIFICALLY CLEANED, YOU SHOULD REQUEST IT UP FRONT.

WE CHANGED HOUSE CLEANING SERVICE BECAUSE WE COULDN''T GET PROMPT RESPONSE AND QUALITY WAS UNEVEN (FROM ANOTHER COMPANY). MARY''S CLEANING HAS RESOLVED ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS. WE ARE PLEASED.

I WAS RUNNING LATE, SO I CALLED TO RESCHEDULE. THE WOMAN I TALKED TO TOLD ME SHE HAD NOTHING, BUT ENDED UP HAVING THE TEAM GO TO THE NEXT HOUSE, THEN BACK TO MINE. THE TEAM ARRIVED 15 MINUTES EARLIER THAN I EXPECTED THEM. THE ONE PERSON WHO SPOKE ENGLISH DIDNT UNDERSTAND ALL OF MY INSTRUCTIONS. THE TEAM LEFT OBVIOUS MOLD IN THE TUBSHOWER ENCLOSURE AND ON THE SHOWER CURTAIN; DID NOT ALWAYS MOVE OBJECTS WHEN DUSTING; DID NOT DUST ON TOP OF BOOKCASES AND THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER; DID NOT VACCUUM ALL THE WAY UNDER THE BEDS AND DRESSERS (ONLY ABOUT 1 FOOT IN); AND CHARGED AN HOUR''S RATE FOR 45 MINUTES WORTH OF WORK. THEY DID, HOWEVER, DO A GOOD JOB MOPPING THE FLOORS AND CLEANING OFF A VERY DUSTY, DIRTY SHELF IN MY DAUGHTER''S ROOM.

ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER, SENT 4 PEOPLE, PROVIDED THEIR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES, AND CLEANED MY HOME IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS. I WAS VERY PLEASED AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I RECEIVED A FOLLOW-UP CALL FROM THEM AND ARRANGED FOR MORE CLEANING SERVICES.
