The gentleman who greeted me when I first got to the store had me put on my suit and explain what I wanted. He measured carefully and marked my suit jacket carefully as well. In about 20 minutes, he had my ticket written and told me to come back the next Thursday (6 days).

When I tried the jacket on, I was very pleased with the look and quality. The suit looked outstanding, and I was very pleased with the results. I will definitely go to Lindy's first the next time I need something altered.

I have never been disappointed with my clothing. I know they inspect the clothes before returning them to me because there have been a few times, when they elected to send items back before it got to me. Also, they are especially skillful in tailoring.

It was not close to my home, but I really needed the rugs cleaned...when I arrived I was asked if there were pet stains on the rugs, if so, they would not clean them at all. I said no, they quickly measured the rugs and provided me with an estimate amount and time it would take for the rugs to be ready. The entire experience was very rushed.

I specifically took them two rugs to clean which my puppy had peed on. When I got the rugs back from them, they were in the exact same condition as when I brought them in and still smelled. When I talked to them about this, they told me they always tell people they may not be able to get out pet stains out. I didn't know this beforehand, and they didn't offer to re-clean them again. I will absolutely not be using them again in the future.

My wife dropped off both rugs last Tuesday and picked them up the following Tuesday. They were returned tagged, rolled, and wrapped in plastic. The smaller of the two rugs had some stains (it is kept under our living room table) and they were able to remove them. Both rugs look as close to brand new as I can remember and I'd say they did a nice job, although I think their price is a little high.

LINDY TAKES DRY CLEANING VERY SERIOUSLY. YOU CAN TELL HE TREATS EVERY BIT OF LAUNDRY LIKE HIS OWN. IN FACT, HE ONCE TURNED DOWN ONE OF MY SWEATERS BECAUSE HE WAS SURE THE SWEATER WOULD RUN ON THE COLLAR TRIM. THEY ARE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND REASONABLE. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THE MAN HAS HIRED AN ASSISTANT. SHE IS THERE IN THE MORNINGS NOW, AND HE SEEMS TO DO AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS. I ALWAYS PREFER TO WORK WITH A BUSINESS OWNER WHEN POSSIBLE. HE SEEMS TO BE MUCH MORE OF A PERFECTIONIST THAN SHE IS.
