Tiny came out on the weekend to look at the work. He gave me suggestions for selecting replacement fixtures which I then selected and purchased during the week. On the following weekend he came out with his helper and did all the work. This is the 5th time we've used Tiny in the last 4 years.

It has been over a year since I have spoken to Tiny. I have left repeated messages on his business and cell phone numbers. At first I asked for a update. After several months of unproductive calling I asked that my property be returned to me if he was unable or unwilling to do the work. Again several more months have passed; more messages without any response. After a year I have to assume my sconces and lamp will never be returned. My wife is heartbroken because she collected these light fixtures during our vacations. They are irreplaceable.

I went through Angie's List and found Harold's. He was near to where I live. We played a little phone tag, but we finally hooked up on the second try. Harold asked me some questions "did you do this? Did you do that?" just to make sure the problem had an easy (and cheap!) solution. "Tiny" showed up the next day and located the problem right away. He was missing a cover for the outlet box so he went "off time" to get one. When he got back, he finished everything up in 15 minutes. (He also installed a cover on another GFI I had outside.) To me, the price was cheap--$133.00. I'd definitely use him again.

He was terrific and a really nice man. he did a very thorough job. He did quite a bit work for us. His work was really good. He wasn't the quickest guy, but I was worried about getting the job done. He has a really good reputation in the industry. He is also highly recommended to elderly people because he won't scam them. Which made me feel good about using him. He writes everything down in long hand, instead of having a professional looking sheet, which is the only minor thing.

Prior to purchase, we had the condo inspected. The village wanted a repair to our electrical panel (open breaker). Our inspector and the electrician recommended by the condo association suggested a full replacement panel ($$$). Tiny and the village disagreed, saying a simple installation of the correct breakers in the panel and a replacement of a connector were all that were needed. This saved us over $500 and worked perfectly.

They replaced the shorted light and repaired our outdoor lighting. They were fine. I had no complaints. He showed up bright and early when he said he would and got the job done quick.

Henry called right away, was clear on when he would arrive at house based on other calls he already had booked that morning. He immediately went to work, found the source of the issue (poor wiring for the dishwasher). If you are looking for a direct honest hardworking electrician, Harold Electric is who you should call.

I liked them very much. He did an excellent job. He knew exactly what to do. He was very simple and straight forward. Also he had a decent price. He arrived on time and finished when he said he would. I plan on using him again and would recommend him to others.

Tiny got back to us fairly quickly, despite the fact that we learned he had recently gotten out of the hospital. He came by that same day to take a look and then scheduled the work a couple of days later. On the day of the job, Tiny showed up right on time...and went right to work. The installation was quick and efficient. The only negative was that he forgot to put the insulation back down in the attic (which he had to remove to install the new electrical box.) Not a big deal. The light in the closet was a nice "extra." We mentioned it to him...and he just happened to have a fixture in his truck. It was installed in a matter of minutes. The overall cost includes a first-time customer discount and an Angie's List discount.

He was very helpful in answering questions and was able to tell us what he needed to do to fix the problem that we were having. He was polite and did a good job. I am happy with the work he did for us.

I contacted Tiny Jr. (owner) for an emergency call when our A/C was broken. (I had already had an A/C person out who advised it was a broken circuit breaker.) He was busy but said could come in a couple of hours. He arrived on time and fixed the circuit breaker. I then asked him to look at some other electrical problems in the house. He took a quick look and said he would need to come back another time to fix them, but he gave me a lot of practical advice. We have an older home, and he said he's experienced with older homes and "if it isn't broke don't fix it." It took us a couple of weeks to schedule another visit. On the second visit he fixed several switches, broken sockets, and installed pull chains on basement lights. He also advised us about installing ceiling fans, which we've wanted to do for a long time, and left us a catalog for the electric supply dealer he works with. We will set up another appointment after we choose the fans and he will install.

He was really good and useful about suggestions that were not related to the original visit.

Tiny Jr. came out a couple days before the job, to check out the garage to see what he needed to complete the work and to give me an estimate. He arrived a few days later right on time and got to work. He was efficient and professional and did a great job. It's so nice to have a serviceman come out and do the job right, the first time and stay within an estimate!

Tiny Jr. came a day early (with advance notice), asked intelligent questions, and got both jobs done promptly and effectively. He found the problems in the circuit breaker box while installing our outlet, and pointed them out. We will definitely use him again for electrical work.

Tiny Jr. came the same day we called, to look at the job, and told us that he would come back when we were able to get into our garage, the electric to the garage went out and our electric garage door opener wouldn't work, leaving a car stuck in there. We had to break into a window to get in and open the garage door manually. Tiny came out and completed the temporary job the next day.

Henry (aka Tiny) was fabulous. On time, efficient, helpful in explaining work.

Tiny Jr. came by and assessed the problem and set to fixing what ended up being a substantial problem with the wiring in the house. He found a scorched outlet that was wired improperly and dangerously. He needed to locate and diagnose faulty wiring and replace outlets with GFI's and also installed 2 ceiling fans. All work was done thoroughly and competently. I would highly recommend. Tiny is a character!

Tiny, Jr., returned phone calls promptly and arrived on time. He gave me money-saving recommendations. Over the phone, he had proposed taking the worn chandeliers to a shop for repair, but when he looked at them, he found that the contacts for the bulbs were clogged with debris, which he cleaned out. He knows his work, and recommends simple solutions. His prices are reasonable, and he gives a senior discount.

WE FOUND TINY THROUGH ANGIE'S and WERE PLEASED TO FIND THE REPORTS TRUE. HE'S VERY PERSONABLE and KNOWS HIS STUFF. WE THOUGHT WE'D NEED BOTH BEDROOM OUTLETS REPLACED BUT HE FOUND A LOOSE WIRE IN ONE and WHATEVER HAD CAUSED THE OTHER OUTLET TO MALFUNCTION SEEMED NO LONGER TO BE AN ISSUE. HE ALSO GAVE US A 5% NEW CUSTOMER DISCOUNT and AN EXTRA 1% FOR OUR NEW BABY. WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN JUST FOR THE PEACE OF MIND. THERE ARE CHEAPER ONES OUT THERE BUT IT'S WORTH IT TO KNOW WE ARE IN GOOD HANDS: HE EXPLAINS WHAT and WHY HE DOES WHAT HE DOES.

HE WAS WONDERFUL. RETURNED MY PHONE CALL WITHIN A FEW HOURS, AND KEPT HIS APPOINTMENT WITH ME. HE EXPLAINED ALL THE WORK HE DID. HE KNOWS THE OLD HOMES IN THE OAK PARK AREA AND THEIR PECULIARITIES, WHICH IS VERY HELPFUL. HE GAVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR BEING A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER.

IF I HAVE ANY ELECTRICAL NEEDS IN THE FUTURE, THIS IS WHO I WILL CALL!! IT'S SO NICE TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE DEALING WITH A FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR (WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE AN ELECTRICIAN!).
