Outstanding service. Arrived on-time for estimate of work (9am), took cushions to shop. Stopped back at 11am having completed one cushion; wanted to insure correct measurements with new memory foam. Completed work and delivered cushions same day - 3pm! Excellent service. Note Elite Upholstery did the original upholstery on this settee & two matching chairs 10 years ago. Still looks beautiful!

Excellent workmanship. This is a family owned business. Their craft was passed down though 3 generations now. Peter and Dimitri are craftsman! They are extremely helpful in picking out fabrics, suggesting ideas for changing the binding and the skirts as well as redesigning the pillow backs-- we took and were extremely happy with all of their suggestions. The ottoman and couch needed some structural repair in addition to being recovered. In addition we used very expensive fabric. Peter was aware of this and very thoughtfully made pillows and arm covers for the chair and couch. I cannot recommend them enough!

Peter and Dimitri are true craftsman. This is a family business. Their trade was taught and passed down by their grandparents. Peter and Dimitri were incredibly helpful in suggesting redesign of the skirt and the pillows. We used expensive fabric and Peter thoughtfully made pillows and arm covers out of the left over scraps. We needed the work done more quickly than first anticipated and they did everything they could to get it done! I cannot recommend them highly enough! A real pleasure to work with!

We had a vintage 1950 telephone table, covered in cracked naugahyde.  They led us through the selection of fabric to match our color scheme (we came in with pictures of the room).  The work took about 6-7 weeks.  About what they estimated.  

The piece came out beautifully. We are extremely happy.

Important note - they do not take credit cards.  We paid cash, but did not inquire about their taking checks.

Peter's awesome, and an artist. I had ordered the fabric from store, and it ended up being back-ordered. Peter was flexible in when he could do the work, which I appreciated as it turned out to be a three month delay.
He advised me on design details - we ended up eliminating the skirt and changing the piping a bit, with the end result being a completely different look for the piece.
We also used Elite to recover two armchairs a few years back. We were thrilled with those results, too.

The above explanation is the story for now.

We had previously used Elite Upholstery to recover some semi-antique chairs. They picked up all chairs. Peter and his sons are true craftsmen. They took two old living room chairs and basically rebuilt them prior to reupholstering them. They touched up the woodwork on two of the chairs and put a nice finish on them; they truly look new. We had them recover 6 dining room chairs; these chairs look great as well. I would definitely recommend them as they take pride in their work; their finished products show this.

This company was willing to do this repair of the sofa, unlike some other companies. They made a date to come and assess what repairs were necessary within a few days. They arrived on time, checked the situation, and gave us a cost and time estimate for the work. They took the sofa back to their shop to do the repair. When completed, they returned the sofa a week later, and explained how they had repaired the sofa. After a month, it still is in good shape. The two representatives were courteous and careful in carrying the large sofa through the door - it was a tight squeeze.

The owner is very passionate about his craft and it shows in the finished product. We are very pleased with the results. It looks and feels like new.

They are amazingly good. A lot of people recommended them to me including my neighbors. It is a family-run business. He is friendly and very good professionally. I think he is Greek, and he brings an old-world-like attention to detail to the job. I think it has been handed down in his family. Even when I thought it was perfect, he would want to make more changes to make it perfect to his eye. He is more like an artisan. He does restoration work for different museums like Hemingway Museum. It is a passion and a family history for him more than just a job. His kids work there too. I think their price is high but they are worth it.
