The estimate went well, he was very nice to work with, but his price was a little higher than someone else. They were extremely thorough, which was nice. They did an estimate on the roof and the inside of the walls and siding- the guts- so it was an extensive job.

Started on the scheduled day. Met the masons on the second day, good guys! Took me around the roof and explained some of the issues and some future problems that lay in wait. Maintained a safe work environment and were very pleasant to the current set of tenants who live in this property. Performed very good work and went above and beyond my expectations for the scope of work so I was happy with the end result. I own some investment properties and this is my second project where I've worked with Kevin Wood from Bald Eagle Construction. I've come to expect good work from Kevin and he delivers. There may be cheaper options out there for GC's but Kevin strikes me as a guy that manages a good crew and has good project management skills. I look forward to involving Bald Eagle in future projects.

The job went very smoothly from start to finish. The workers were very professional at all times.

The evaluation of the work required (new roof) was done promptly after we contacted Bald Eagle, and the estimate was very reasonable. Kevin (owner) was patient and responsive with all of our questions regarding the bid, and updated the bid appropriately when we requested use of a different type of roofing material. We got two other estimates which seemed roughly comparable in terms of work to be done and materials used, and Bald Eagle came in with the lowest cost. However, it was only partly because of the cost that we went with them - their responsiveness was an equal factor. They came out with a large crew to do the roof job, and Remmy was the foreman of the crew - very communicative and professional. He made sure to show us the areas where new decking was required on the roof, because only a certain amount of decking was included in the bid, so he wanted to be sure that we saw the necessity for more decking than was included in the bid. The crew worked extremely hard and steadily on the first day, until late evening when there was no more light left at all. A different crew came the next day to install the gutters, which took only a few hours. And then no one from the roofing crew came back for the rest of the second day. So, that was one communication "glitch" that explains the "B" grade on the punctuality category. Although all of the new shingles were NOT yet installed, the roof WAS adequately protected from the elements, so there was no harm done. But it still made us nervous to have no progress made on finishing up the roof job while rain was in the forecast (and it did in fact rain), and no communication about the fact that the roofing crew would not be returning the second day. On the evening of the second day, we called to ask them what was up, and were assured they would be back in the morning, which they were. They finished the job in less than half a day, and cleaned and departed. Unfortunately, I am not sure how wide-spread their use of the magnet roller was, because we found nails in our driveway and on our back deck. Fortunately, we did find the driveway nails before our car's tires did! We did report this to the owner and he was apologetic and said that they pride themselves on clean-up so he would speak with the workers. Remmy was excellent in responsiveness, and even came back the final day to put on a small piece of white siding to mask an unsightly spot revealed when the old roof was taken away -- hard to explain but the exposure of the "unsightly spot" was no fault of Bald Eagle's, and was only a cosmetic problem. All in all, the price and the work performed were excellent. The only "dings" are for the lack of communication on the second day, and the less-than-complete clean-up that could have left us with a flat tire in our only vehicle. Otherwise, excellent and we are REALLY glad to have used Bald Eagle, and to have our new roof!

They call before coming and completed the work in one day, cleaning up area after the were finish.

I think they were pretty professional. They were attentive to any questions that I had. They were prompt. Their scheduling was flexible. The pricing was a little out the range I wanted to pay.

Everything went well. He didn't do the work. I didn't pick him because I knew someone else (a family friend) who would do the same work at the same price.

They did a real good job and I would recommend them.

Complete remodel of both bathroom & kitchen. They were very good. They came early or on-time. It took them about a week. I'm very happy with the results.

They came out but they did not get on the roof. He then sent me a quote in the mail, even tho he never went on the roof.

They came when they said they would. They did everything they said they would. So far, everything is fine.

The work was done in a short amount of time, in a very workmanlike manner. I was very pleased with the punctuality & politeness of the crew. They did everything Kevin promised & more. I am a realtor & have & would recommend them again to my clients & friends. Not only for this type of work, but for any other honme maintenance or construction work that comes up. Kevin is a pleasure to work with!

Kevin Wood is professional and prompt in returning phone calls, plus on-time attending meetings onsite. His knowledge of City codes and processes is very good; he effectively communicated what needed to be completed; he made it easy to trust things would get done correctly and on time - he and his team were fast and efficient. The price was a bit higher than several others we called, however still competitive and in the ballpark; the quality and peace of mind were worth it.

The work was done on our 96-year-old house so great care and professionalism was required. The house had suffered severe hail damage from the summer before which had only been recently discovered. We were also racing the clock of approaching winter weather and requested estimates from different companies. Kevin from Bald Eagle Contruction quickly stood out from the rest with his very prompt, courteous and professional attention to detail in dealing with our wonderful old house with its very pitched roof. His estimate was clear, concise and delivered to the penny from start to finish all the work promised! His six man roofing team headed by Remy was the most hardworking, skilled and adept group who worked tirelessly in the cold over the course of two days -- they were highly efficient and professional and went about their work very safely and with care. Tarps were used to protect the vegetation. All the debris was hauled away by the Bald Eagle team leaving hardly a trace that they had been there! The follow up masonry team was exceptionally skilled in their flashing of our chimney and 2nd floor dormer. We found Bald Eagle on Angies List and are so thankful to both for a job well done! UPDATE ON 8/31/2012 Our neigbors roofer noticed the work on our roof had not been completed so we contacted Bald Eagle and they told us that we did have some exposed plywood and that they could come back to deal with it. They never came back to repair it despite their promise and us having to wait more than two weeks. We ended up having our neighbors roofing company come out to fix the issue. We are extremely disatisfied with Bald Eagle. We were lucky that our neighbors roofer noticed the issue because we would have never known that we had exposed plywood. If this issue would have not been noticed it would have caused some serious rotting issues. Bald eagle did not do a quality job and didn't finish the job properly. We hope this hasn't happened to other peoples roofs. Bald Eagle was good at getting out an estimate fast and on starting the job but their follow through and delivery of quality work was completely unsatisfactory.

Kevin, owner of Bald Eagle, was very knowledgeable about the required work I needed done on my back porch. My back porch had to be rebuilt per city inspectors. He was precise will what work his company would perform and there were no hidden charges. He also gave me pointers on other concerns the city inspectors might have on my property. I would not hesitate to use Bald Eagle again.

Everything went well, but I had to postpone the work because of the price.

Project for me was overwhelming a new roof,gutters, mason work but not for Bald Eagle. They are terrific...Explained everything they were going to do and went to work until done with my project. I can rest in confidence that work is done right first time. Oh by the way they did work for my friend to and that's why I chose them in the first place.

Bald Eagle did our roof and along with that did an excellent job on the masonry on our chimney that needed to be fixed. Kevin, the owner, is wonderful to work with. He promises to call back within an hour of a message AND DOES! The estimate came very promptly and the workers were all so efficient, hard-ing and neat. Our place looked great when they were done, both the masonry-roof and the grounds. I'd highly recommend them. They are an honest company with great talent.

They quality of the work was very high to begin with, so I was surprised when the home inspector said there might be some issues with it. Bald Eagle was very quick to come out and check the job and assured me that everything was still fine and that there were no issues with it. I was very impressed with the speedy reply and the thoroughness of the roof check-up.

Well they did all of our concrete paths.Service was all good had one minor issue and it was taken care of immediately.They were professional and I couldn't be happier with the work.They are highly recommendable.

I would rather not say how much we spent.

Kevin Wood is the president of the company. When I first contacted him, he responded back to me really quickly. I really liked that. He called me back very shortly. I asked him a bunch of questions and he was very nice to answer all my questions. I had some complaints, but those were minor. Overall, the quality of the work was good. They came what they said they were going to come. They did everything that they said they were going to do. They finished everything. I had a new roof put on and I had some extra things. They got everything done in one day and I liked all of that. I had minor issues. I had a downspout put on, that wasn't there before. They gave me color samples of what the colors were going to be. I picked one color. The one that they put up was not exactly the color I picked up. It's a little different shade of color I was expecting. The other issue was I have a chimney that leaked. They were a peppy rain soon after they did the work. I went up to the attic to make sure that it wasn't leaking and there was a small amount of water there. I told them and they came out the next day. They came by and inspected it. I don't know if they fixed it because there hasn't been heavy rain since then. They did some minor things to it. The other thing I didn't like was, Kevin called me and he said they were coming over the next day. It wasn't much of an advance notice because I wanted to be there to watch them the entire time; so I wish he had given me more advance notice. One minor thing was that since I called them to say I wouldn't be there for the entire time, I would like them to take a video about the work they were going to do and they did take a video, but I wasn't able to get a copy of it. They seemed to be like a good company to do business with. They were very responsive before I hired them; but after the work was done, I asked them a couple of questions and Kevin didn't respond to that.
