Kevin was super professional with his calls and follow-up. He made sure that all the work was done to specification, and even suggested that I not replace a concrete stoop in order to save on the project cost. At each step of the process I was kept up to speed, and the project timeline and cost were as stated in the proposal. I was also pleased with the fact that the job was all finished in time for Thanksgiving, and Kevin even did a final check to make sure that the job was to my satisfaction. Bald Eagle's price was also the most reasonable of the 3 blind bids I received for this project.

At first everything was nice and copasetic. I met the construction guys, some spoke English, some didn't. They started on the work and everything was going good. Soon after though I noticed a crack on the bottom stair going right down the middle, two feet long. I contacted the President, Kevin Woods on 10/30/12 who said he'd send out Bob, the Construction Manager. Bob said he'd have it done by the weekend and here it is well past the weekend time he gave me (11/6/12). I have since called Bob and Kevin, but have yet to get a return call. The other day my wife pointed out a crack in a beam as well. I looked and there are actually 3 cracks each about a foot long going right down the center. Weather permitting those could crack further and our roof would collapse creating several injuries. If injuries do occur due to this matter, lawsuits will be filed. I've paid this company in full and I deserve the work I paid in full for. All I want is for them to make good on their word and correct this. I've not received my final receipt of payment in full either. Thank goodness I paid with checks so I have some form of proof. On top of all this, he asked me to call in to give a good rating on Angie's list even though he hasn't fixed my step and beam!

Every other roofer ignored me because no one wants to do a mansard roof, but Bald Eagle was different. The owner came out and they did the work. The crew has an almost military approach to their work and they were done in almost 3 days.

We will use his company in the near future.

Bald Eagle came out promptly to do the estimate. He explained everything in detail and had the estimate emailed to us the next day. We wanted the project done quickly, and he had us on the schedule within a week. The crew was fast and efficient. They took the time to protect our landscaping, and they were always mindful if our kids were coming in or out of the house. It only took them two days to do the entire job, with a worker coming a day later to finish up the flashing. They needed to replace some of the decking, bringing the rotted boards down so we could see them. One thing I really appreciated was the crew leaders introduced themselves so we would know who would be around the property. All the men who worked on the house were very polite and professional.

The roofing company came exactly on time. Their foreman was helpful, kind, and responsive. During the first day the foreman noticed some boards that were rotting and that would need to be replaced, he immediately showed me a picture and gave me an estimate on the price that was almost exact to the dollar (it was around $300). The crew that came to put on our roof was amazing, there were at least ten people and two dedicated just to cleaning up debris. It took two days to do the roof, when it was all finished the roofers it looked cleaner than when they came. At the end the foreman asked me if there was anything I needed or anything else that needed to be cleaned. It was professional the entire time. All of my neighbors were impressed and commeneted on what a great job they did.

It was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. Prompt, answered all my questions with sound advice, easy to work with and clean.

They removed the rotten wood facia, and replaces it with new wood boards and aluminum . They added new gutters and down spouts. They were on time and completed the job in the estimated time.When they were through they had cleaned up the front yard like they were never there.I have used the company before and I would recomend Bald Eagle Construstion to anyone.

Overall, the job was done extremely well. Kevin Wood met with us personally to go over what would be needed to get the job done. The work crews were extremely professional, and they were courteous to my family. The end product looks great, and we have received a number of compliments on the improved appearance of the roof (and by extension, the house as a whole). To top it off, the price was very reasonable considering the extent of the work to be done. I would definitely recommend Bald Eagle to others.

Bald Eagle was not the cheapest bid I received: but given the Angie's List rating and reviews, I felt most confident with this company. I was thoroughly pleased. Overall, the project took 6 days to complete. After agreeing to the contract, I was told I would be called "later that week" with a start date, being told at the end of a Friday that work would begin Monday did not work for me. We were able to re-schedule when I would be available. The crew was professional, extremely neat, clean, accurate. Since I had both front and rear doors affected, they were able to build a "plank" so I could walk over the rear stoop. My home has masonry in the front that had become loose during the demolition and they were all secured afterwards. I had railings that needed to be re-set into the front porch, which they were able to do, however one was slightly loose once the concrete was dry. The crew was back the next day and had to drill holes into the concrete and re-set. It is now sturdy. I would recommend Bald Eagle. Crew was phenomenal!

It went very well. Earlier this summer I had 3 openings in my roof made be racoons. After it was determined that the at racoons were no longer living in the roof crawl space, I called Bald Eagle for an estimate. The estimate was competitive, and communication with the owner was very responsive and professional. Because I had out of town house guests at the time, I asked that the job be started the later part of August. On 8/17 we agreed to start the work on 8/21 and Kevin asked that I be home at the start of the job. On Monday 8/20, I told Kevin that I could no longer be home on 8/21 as I was headed to Children's Hospital to meet my daughter and granddaughter and wasn't sure how long I would be there. My granddaughter was being taken from a local hospital to Children's in an ambulance. Since I have a smart phone, Kevin offered to send me hourly photographs of the work being done on the roof and he did. It was such a piece of mind to be able to devote all of my attention to my family and at the same time have confidence that my new roof was being professionally and appropriately installed.

We got a bid from Bald Eagle within a day of asking in the spring. We delayed our decision and got bids from two other contractors. The other bids were in the same ballpark but one was very slow in coming. Price was one of the factors in our decision, but we chose Bald Eagle primarily because Kevin was responsive and good to work with on a previous (cement driveway) project. Once I sent in the down payment and signed contract, the work was completed within a few days. Kevin said it might take up to two days to complete, but the work was done in a single day.

Kevin Wood at Bald Eagle showed up when he said he would and provided me a timely and professionally prepared estimate via e-mail within a day of his visit. The detail on the estimate and his explanation put me at ease on such a significant project. It was comforting to have a sense of exactly what i was getting for what I was being quoted. Once I made the decision to go with Bald Eagle, Kevin dispatched a sizable crew (8-10) that had the job completed within 3 days. They even worked through the stretch of 100+ degree days this summer. The crew covered all my garden plantngs adjacent to the house and thoroughly cleaned after the project. After the project, After completion of the project, I noticed a couple of shingles loose along a vertical dormer wall he sent a team right away to secure them. Overall I'm very pleased with the work completed. I have received several compliments from neighbors and have the peace of mind that my roof project is out of the way. If you're considering a roofing job, you should certainly ask for Bald Eagle to bid on the job.

My family and I went through h*** and back dealing with Kevin Wood and Bald Eagle Construction. From shoddy work to awful customer service, a simple re-roofing of my house turned into a nightmare that has cost us a lot more than just money. Kevin was initially very professional in how he went about his business. He came out to the house, gave us an estimate and stayed in touch with us about when he could come out and complete the project. But after the project was completed, things took a turn for the worse. Shortly after construction was done, a leak was discovered on the back porch. After several phone calls with Kevin, we were finally able to get him to send someone out to take a look at the problem. When a member of Kevin?s crew came out, he determined that nothing was wrong and it was our problem that the roof was leaking. How could this be, we asked ourselves? It wasn?t until Bald Eagle put on the new roof that it began to leak. It took a few contentious phone calls with Kevin to finally have him send a crew out again to take a closer look. They came out and did some minor work to fix some areas that were causing the leak. We thought that was the end of it. We were wrong. This past summer, the same leak began giving us trouble again. We called Kevin and it again took him several days to get back to us. After another few contentious phone calls, he finally agreed to send someone out to look at the roof. A crew member from Bald Eagle came by the house and determined it was our fault that the roof was leaking. As we pressed Kevin further, he became more agitated with the situation and grew increasingly more rude and disrespectful with each phone call. Furthermore, a third-party that we hired came out and not only located several problem areas with the roof, but also said the roof should never have been built in such cold weather as it was. The third-party also stated that the wall to roof flashing was not installed correctly as it was sealed against the siding instead of behind the siding. We pressed Kevin one final time to come out and fix the roof. We received an email from him stating in so many words that the roof was our problem and that he would be happy to come fix the problem if we paid him. At this point, we?ve decided to cut our losses because it?s not worth the stress of dealing with Kevin and the Bald Eagle staff. Whenever a problem occurred with the roof, we were more upset that we had to call Kevin than we were with the actual leak. Dealing with him was uncomfortable, stressful and unnerving ? leading us to write this review. We felt this was something we had to do so no one else would have to deal with such an unprofessional man who cares little for the customer and more for his bottom line.

It was a surprise because everything went the way it should. When you deal with contractors, you see the good, the bad and the ugly. Bald Eagle is the good, and they make you want to cry because they're so easy work with! Kevin showed up on time (which was a shock in itself), and we discussed the job. A part of my sidewalk was a nightmare at this point, and I was afraid someone was going to get hurt. (My neighbor's tree has been damaging it for years.) In addition, Kevin pointed out a huge crack in my foundational wall (and I have no idea if I am using the right terms or not) that needed to be fixed. I didn't say anything to him, but I also wondered how he was going to get the new concrete around my stairs and make it look nice. I just didn't know how he was going to do it. I met him on Saturday. On Monday, I rec'd a professional and DETAILED estimate, references in my area, copies of his Angie's Lists Awards, a copy of his license, insurance, and registration. We set a date, and he performed it on time with no issues, drama or tears. It was great! I need something else done, and I just called him a minute ago.

The concrete floor of my garage was very old and had cracked, buckled and heaved. I solicited several bids and Bald Eagle was the lowest. I hired them based on the Angie's List rating and Bald Eagle delivered as promised. All the work was done on time. The work site was left clean and neat. A very good job.

Kevin was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. The workers seemed very nice and cleaned up after themselves, which is important to me. I would recommend them and use them again. The only reason I gave them a B on quality is because of some discoloration on the concrete on our walkway.

The workers were quick, focused, and professional. They completed all tasks and cleaned up during and after the job. Their work was exemplary. The owner was organized with all credential presented without requests.

When we called for an estimate, someone showed up, unannounced in a matter of a couple of hours after our call. However, he did not get on the roof, he only measured the length and width of the roof from the ground. Since we have several skylights that we thought might need some work, I called Kevin Wood, the owner, and told him I thought we needed another estimate with someone on the roof. Kevin sent someone else out who did get on the roof and spent time afterward talking with my husband. It was decided one of the 4 skylights should be replaced along with the roof. Once a date was set, the roofers were here within a few minutes of when they said they would arrive and did the biggest bulk of the work that day. They returned the next morning when they said they would and worked another 7 hours. They covered the back porch with tarps to protect the porch and moved some furniture pieces off the porch to protect them. As they were finishing, we found a few broken twigs on the shrubs in the front of the house but nothing that seemed too damaging. The next morning, I noticed one of the downspouts next to the shrubs in front was badly mangled. I sent a photo of it to Kevin that afternoon. The next day, while we were out, he sent someone to replace it and emailed us a photo of the new downspout before we returned home. We were pleased with the job on the roof and especially on the promptness of Kevin addressing our concerns. We also appreciated the Angie's List discount and Seniors discount he gave us. That made him competitive with other estimates we had received. We would recommend him to others.

I emailed architectural drawings per their request, and never even received the courtesy of a call-back. Unprofessional to say the least.
